Trying out Gary Moore’s ‘No 1’ Marshall JCM 2000 DSL amp! This is the first ever JCM 2000 ever made, the prototype that was sent to Gary and became his main touring and recording amp. I don’t know how it compares to other DSL’s but I’m loving this! Cheers!...

Jamming through Gary Moore’s Marshall JCM 2000 which was his main live head from 1997 - 2008. Along with the prototype DSL I posted about previously these were his two main amps during that period but this one was used a lot more live. This is the amp he used for the Fender 50th Anniversary performance and many more including the Thin Lizzy / Phil Lynott Reunion in 2006. The last appearance was the most recent live album release from Beloise in 2008. I’m using one of Gary’s Les Paul’s that he had fitted with Bare Knuckle PG Blues pickups. This is my first time playing this guitar but I’m already in love 😍 cheers! #garymoore #marshall #thinlizzy

Plugging the 1955 Les Paul Junior into a cranked Marshall Plexi, this is as raw as it gets. That single P-90 is a beast! For Gary Moore fans, this is the exact gear he used to record Victims of the Future. He used this very guitar through the 1972 Super Bass that John Norum scored! My Marshall is 1993 SLP reissue that Gary had modded into a super bass to see how it compared to his beloved 72, Cheers! #garymoore #lespaul #marshall #tone

A lot of people don’t know this, but Take It on the Run was almost sung by guitarist Gary Richrath instead of Kevin Cronin. Gary wrote the song and originally planned to sing it but once Kevin sang it, that became the version everyone knows from 1981. 😄

Jason Segel says Judd Apatow told him never to play his Dracula musical for anyone, so he put it in Forgetting Sarah Marshall “I recorded that song, triumphantly burned it onto a CD-R and drove over to Judd Apatow’s house. I said, ‘I have to show you something. Paul Verhoeven was very dissatisfied with "Hollow Man" (2000). He became so depressed that it took him 6 more years to make his next movie. It was also his last American film. He considers it the "Worst film" he has ever done & regrets making it. He said, “I decided after "Hollow Man" (2000), this is a movie, the first movie that I made that I thought I should not have made. It made money and this and that, but it really is not me anymore. I think many other people could have done that. I don’t think many people could have made 'Robocop' (1987) that way, or either 'Starship Troopers' (1997). But 'Hollow Man', I thought there might have been 20 directors in Hollywood who could have done that. I felt depressed with myself after 2002.”

i don’t know how to put this into words but i just love that shane doesn’t reassure yuna here or tell her it was okay. ‘i forgive you’ is so powerful on its own and it shows that this moment is truly for shane and no one else. one of the best coming out scenes i’ve ever seen.

It took MP Frank Caputo in this unbelievable clip to get Gary to say that China doesn’t dictate if the MOU between China and the RCMP is able to get released to Canadians. It gets quite heated. And I still don’t trust Gary and his final answer. Frank has requested Safety Minister Gary to produce an unredacted copy of this MOU within 10 days. What do you think the chances of that happening are?
