Jamming through Gary Moore’s Marshall JCM 2000 which was his main live head from 1997 - 2008. Along with the prototype DSL I posted about previously these were his two main amps during that period but this one was used a lot more live. This is the amp he used for the Fender 50th Anniversary performance and many more including the Thin Lizzy / Phil Lynott Reunion in 2006. The last appearance was the most recent live album release from Beloise in 2008. I’m using one of Gary’s Les Paul’s that he had fitted with Bare Knuckle PG Blues pickups. This is my first time playing this guitar but I’m already in love 😍 cheers! #garymoore #marshall #thinlizzy

Awesome clip of Gary Moore playing the Les Paul I just bought at Bonhams. This is just a snippet from the encore of the 1999 Montreux Jazz Festival where Gary performs an 11 minute version of his classic Parisienne Walkways. There’s a beautiful 4 minute improvisation at the end where Gary really goes for it. When I bought the guitar at auction I had no idea it had been played at Montreaux for such an incredible performance. Honestly this clip will probably double the value of the guitar. After doing some research I found out it’s one of the very first 59 reissues ever produced from the Gibson Custom Shop when it was first established in 1993. This is most likely Gibsons first ever attempt at recreating the ‘Greenie’ Les Paul. I can’t wait until this guitar is in my hands… #garymoore #lespaul #encore

As Marshall alludes to (though he does not fully appreciate), in the practical order, adhering to the principles of ‘Recognize and Resist’ is nearly identical to admitting a vacancy in the Apostolic See. This man’s dog passed away a few months ago. They used to tie him up to this tree out in the front yard as he loved being outside. They even buried his leash at the base of the tree. As he was walking by the tree they used to tie him up to, they noticed a formation at the bottom of the tree on the trunk and it looks so similar to a photo they have of him. He said he’s aware of pareidolia, where people see patterns or formations in certain things. But he doesn’t believe it is that. I see it. Think it is so cool and beautiful. ❤️ Do you see it?
