Turned what should’ve been a simple conversation into an arrest

I just don’t get it, who thinks they are going to get anywhere with police by cussing at them and yelling. Make it make sense. That poor boy has to deal with that parent and it’s very sad.

Yeah but I'm still taking his side. Esp if it's not required to have a license or registered. They had no need to ID him. They should have just walked away. But cops don't like to stop once they start.

OK the female officer lied. When she was being recorded, she said the reason they stopped them because he didn’t have any goggles on. That’s not true. They stopped them because they thought he shouldn’t be riding that scooter. When they realized it was 49 cc they realize they fucked up. So then she used the excuse saying he wasn’t wearing his goggles. That’s a straight up lie. I can’t stand when police officers try to lie to justify any kind of interaction with a citizen. Yes, the father was irate and unhinged. But that’s not the point. Please officers often lie so that they can confront citizens on what they believe, are possible in fractions.
