Today, we released Lyra 2.0, a framework for generating persistent, explorable 3D worlds at scale, from NVIDIA Research. Generating large-scale, complex environments is difficult for AI models. Current models often “forget” what spaces look like and lose track of movement over time, causing objects to shift, blur, or appear inconsistent. This prevents them from creating the reliable 3D environments required for downstream simulations. This is how Strike Robot turns Simulation into Reality! One of the biggest challenges in robotics is ensuring that behaviors validated in simulation work reliably in the real world. For this experiment, we reconstructed part of a real laboratory at Eastworlds inside SR Platform. The generated layout was then deployed into MuJoCo. Using SR Agentic, the robot was tasked with finding abnormal objects in a cluttered environment and sending a Telegram notification when detected. Before deployment, everything is validated in simulation.

Two months ago, at an RSS workshop panel, I said that general real2sim reconstruction is still far from solved, especially for articulated objects, which will be a major bottleneck for robotics. But now that has totally changed with Astra; using several photos as input, we can easily reconstruct vivid articulated scenes. The result is so impressive! Excited to see how it will shift the paradigm of real2sim2real and agentic learning for robotics and humanoids.

MAKING AXIS TASKS FEEL EASY 👀🤖 I made a quick video showing how to complete an Axis Robotics task step by step. The task gives you a clear goal, steps, controls and camera views to guide you. In this one, the goal is simple, Open the trash bin, pick up the onion, and place it inside. 🧅 Just follow the instructions, control the robot arm and complete the task. What I like is that even beginners can understand what they need to do. But the interesting part is what happens with these interactions after we complete them. Each completed task can contribute valuable robot training data, helping Physical Ai systems learn how to handle different objects and environments. Small tasks from the community can become useful data for teaching robots how to interact with the real world. That’s what makes Axis interesting to me.
