Okay, this one is the Grok Imagine version. But here’s something you need to note: I uploaded the character sheet I made with Nano Banana Pro as the base image. So it feels like this fake “Omni reference” kind of style, but it works 😄 Somehow, it’s much more consistent than uploading a still image of your scene with your character, because there’s a chance your character will morph a bit. By using your character sheet as the base model, it helps maintain consistency. The only problem is that when you do the img2vid prompt, you need to retell the setting, the action, the vibe and so on. But for me, I kind of like that approach, LOL 😆 Like I said, I’m getting lazy about animating images one by one. With this approach, I can just focus on dividing the shots, like shot 1: blabla, shot 2: bliblibli, shot 3: blublu, etc. Now for the comparison: In comparison with the Kling 3.0 Omni version, I feel that Grok Imagine is much more dynamic. But in terms of the character performance, it feels a bit over the top. Testing Wan 3.0 Anime I hadn't had much luck with Wan 3.0 anime before but seeing the incredible work below made me want to give it another shot. I usually use a skill to turn my ideas into prompts but that approach hadn't worked too well for me with this model. This time, I just used the idea itself as the prompt. I'm happy with the result and might experiment with it some more. *Used a character reference. Prompt was: Start with the character from Image 1 performing a ritual-like dance on top of a tower. She raises her staff and sends a wave of energy into the clouds, not as a thin laser line but as something more fluid and undulating. In the clouds, a magic circle appears and expands. The surrounding clouds are pulled toward it and begin swirling around it. A portal opens at the center, and a giant spaceship emerges from it and descends to Earth.

The trick is not the tools. It's how you prompt. I described the camera like a game camera. Rigid follow distance. Snap turns. A HUD locked to the screen. The model did the rest. Here's what I learned: Lock your character first. One clean character sheet. Reference it in every generation. This is what stops the drift. Prompt the medium, not just the scene. "Gameplay capture" gives you a different image than "cinematic shot". Flat exposure, deep focus, no film grain. That's what makes it read as a game. Fights come out stiff. Everyone takes turns. Tell the model everything happens at once and re-render until it does. Generate short clips. Cut them yourself. Add music in post. You have more control than one long generation will ever give you. Now the bigger picture. Video models are becoming world models. They are learning how things move, react, collide. The gap between "video that looks like a game" and "a game you can play" is closing. Soon you won't prompt a trailer. You'll prompt the game itself. The world, the character, the rules. Then you walk in. When that happens, the engine won't be the skill. I have been wanting to test performance transfer in Seadance 2.5 since launch, now I have, I am really impressed by the results. I wrote a short script and recorded myself giving a rallying speech as an orc warlord, then fed this and an image of the orc into Seedance with this prompt "A cinematic close up of an orc warlord giving a rallying speech to his army of orcs. Transfer the performance, movement and audio from Video 1 onto the the character Image 1. Do not add any music" I didn't prompt the dialogue or performance in text. The first video you see is a a final cut of the video, the second is the final cut of the video with my video performance. As you can see it's not an exact like-for-like transfer of the performance and voice but more a interpretation by Seedance. It's made my amateur performance better IMHO, more fitting with the creator but retain the essence, nuance and context. So you don't have to feed in a long prompt to get good performance out of your AI actors you can just show them what you want with a video! I used Seedance Enterprise on bytedances lumina platform Lumina link in the comments!
