This is Junior Dave (JK) Kazoora, a renowned veteran media personality. Following the abduction and torture of former Kampala Lord Mayor and PFF president Erias Lukwago on June 18, 2026, Kazoora praised CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for what he described as a "brilliant media strategy" of posting what he called "fake" photographs of a tortured Lukwago in the infamous 'basement', similar to what had earlier happened in the case of Bobi Wine's bodyguard, Eddie Mutwe. In a scathing interview, Kazoora's aunt, Miria Matembe, strongly criticised Muhoozi, accusing him of behaving like "Idi Amin incarnate" and of taking pride in the abduction and killing of Ugandans. Soldiers would raid Matembe's home on June 22, 2026, but did not find her because she had reportedly gone out for her routine exercise. Matembe has not been seen since. On June 26, 2026, Kazoora appealed to the soldiers to release Matembe's body to the family for decent burial if she had been killed. He also appealed to the soldiers, if they were indeed still holding her, not to torture her.

I also presented a contribution of UGX 10M towards the burial arrangements. ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.’ — 2 Timothy 4:7 May his soul rest in eternal peace."

#UGANDA Presidential candidate BOBI WINE was seen rushing his campaign team members back and forth from harm’s way to safety as military and police forces unleashed a violent ambush on his campaign convoy. The attack, reportedly ordered by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the CDF and son of Yoweri Museveni—who has ruled Uganda for over 40 years—targeted the opposition after a mass rally in Museveni’s stronghold in Mbarara. The attack, reportedly ordered by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the CDF and son of Yoweri Museveni—who has ruled Uganda for over 40 years—targeted the opposition after a mass rally in Museveni’s stronghold in Mbarara. Women were molested, journalists beaten, and dozens of supporters arrested. Security forces deployed pepper spray, electric tasers, and batons. Bobi Wine’s sister was beaten and pepper-sprayed, while his wife was tear-gassed. Young women were forcibly undressed by soldiers. In Kololo, motorists reportedly noticed a billboard for the CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba Inter-Forces Drill Competition hanging precariously, but most simply drove past without stopping. Col. Deo Akiiki, Uganda's Defence Adviser and Military Attaché in Washington, D.C., chose to act differently. He stopped, stepped out of his car, and fixed the billboard himself. Though a simple act, it has sparked admiration as a symbol of commitment and patriotism. True patriotism is not always about speeches or grand gestures sometimes it is about stopping to do what is right.
