Having an ump blatantly lie like that is concerning. How can you trust them to make fair calls if they can't admit when they themselves make a mistake? League should take a look at it for sure.

The easiest fix would’ve just been the home plate ump saying he called time and re-pitched with the count 3-2, but instead we get 2 people ejected 🤦‍♂️

I don’t have a dog in the fight besides wanting to see it done correctly. If the hitters and pitchers have to adjust so do the umps. He should have just admitted what he did and actually tried to figure the situation out instead of having the crew chief go on a power trip.

They weren't even arguing the most important thing. It should've been strike 3 already. Batter wasn't ready.
