My sons last year of HS ball is next year, he'll likely play college ball, but I already miss the field. Becoming an Ump next year, wish me luck. At the youth level, I'm hoping a little bit of effort will put me above the rest. Here's hoping I'm never on your channel.

If the 3B coach in red was not the Manager or head coach, that's exactly why the Umpire dismissed him. He has no voice. He doesn't get to talk. They got together and got the call correct.

@TalkinBaseball_ two things 1. there should be replay review in the Minor leagues if the game is being broadcasted or recorded in some way and you can see it on the footage 2. that second base ump actually sucks

"Closer view" doesn't mean "better angle". But I highly doubt the umpires are smart enough to communicate that.

An angled view will be able to tell better. Looking at a ball traveling directly away from you is harder to see how high it wad when it hits.. the 3rd base angle could see how high it was when it changed directions.

Umpires are the biggest pussies. I’ve been around the game for a long time. A lot of them are little bitches. Just because they got beat up in high school, they somehow think they have some sort of real life authority for about three hours a night a few times a week.
