When they forced their way in, the first thing they asked for... was Don Sheriff. After failing to find him, they instead took his wife to an unknown location. An Anambra-based woman has cr!ed out after Nigeria Police Force officers arrested her husband while he was on his way to buy drinks. The officers accused him of being a thi£f and later ext0rted ₦200,000 from him at Flyover Opi Iweke, Onitsha. According to her, a few days ago, her husband went to buy drinks. On his way back, he was stopped by the police and asked to show his documents. After presenting them, the officers complained about the car’s custom color. Before he could explain, they accused him of theft, handcuffed him, and put him in a Hilux. When he insisted they take him to a police station, there was a back-and-forth, and eventually, he transferred ₦200,000 to them. After getting home, the wife started making calls to find out which police division the officers belonged to. She was later told it was Okpoko Police Station. When she and her husband got to the station, the serving DPO responded immediately and ordered all the policemen on duty to come out so her husband could identify the culprits. After every officer came out, the offending ones were nowhere to be seen. The DPO then sent other officers along with the woman and her husband to the exact junction where the incident happened. There, the culprits were pointed out, and the ₦200,000 was refunded immediately.

A 28-year-old businessman in Faridabad died by suicide inside his shop on Sunday after hanging himself. Before taking the extreme step, he posted a video on Instagram in which he accused his wife and her family of mentally harassing him. Police have launched an investigation and are also examining the allegations made in the video. In the Instagram video posted before his death, Rahul accused his wife Jyoti, his mother-in-law Veena, his father-in-law Bittu and his wife's sister Neetu of mentally harassing him. He claimed that despite doing all household chores, including sweeping and washing utensils, he was assaulted, and false cases were filed against him. He said he had been living under constant mental stress. Rahul also said in the video that his wife and her family were responsible for his death and should be punished according to the law. He further said that after his death, his property should go to his mother, sister and brothers. The victim, Rahul, had opened a garment shop around four months ago. According to police, Rahul met his mother at home on Sunday morning before leaving for his shop. A short while later, he hanged himself inside the shop. Police reached the spot after receiving information, took custody of the body and sent it to hospital for post-mortem. According to Rahul's family, he had married a woman named Jyoti in a love marriage around two years ago. They alleged that after the marriage, his wife did not want him to live with his parents, following which he started living separately. They said Rahul had recently opened his new garment shop. A family member, Amit, alleged that Rahul had been under severe mental stress due to harassment by his wife and her family. He claimed that Rahul's wife had also filed a case against him, which added to his stress. The family further alleged that Rahul was not even allowed to meet his parents. Investigating officer Sanjay Kumar said police have sent the body for post-mortem and are investigating the case. He said the viral social media video has been included in the investigation and that the allegations made in it will be verified during the probe.

This is part of the story of our now deceased comrade, Marinos Alexandria, who died in the wee hours of this morning after a while of getting treatment for the torture ocassioned upon her. She was abducted and tortured by security operatives, the UPDF spokesperson confirmed they had detained her, but released her days later without charge. So why didn't they take her to police or court if she had committed a crime? Why did they release her with torture marks and signs of abuse after holding her in incommunicado detention? Why did police where she went afterwards to report send her away without filing her complaint against the abduction and torture? A Kansas City woman was denied medical care while suffering back-to-back seizures after her husband filed a complaint against Overland Park Regional Hospital One week agoa man named Quae filed a complaint on behalf of his wife, Nisha, at the hospital due to her experiencing seizures. The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday, March 13, at the family’s residence. The conflict began when the man reportedly refused to hand over the entirety of his retirement payout to his wife and four sons. After receiving the money, he used a portion to open two shops for his wife in Abule after giving her N3 million. He also bought a N12 million car for himself while the family already owned a home in the area. However, his wife and sons, who are all university graduates, expressed dissatisfaction with the distribution of the funds and attempted to pressure him for more. The situation took a darker turn when the man sold the newly purchased vehicle shortly after acquiring it, raising suspicions among neighbors. A local landlord, who spoke to The Nation, revealed that the man was later discovered in his home with his mouth, hands, and feet bound. "He was tied like an animal to be slaughtered. They (his wife and kids) got some Aboki men, about six of them to tie him up. It was the strange noise from their parking that alerted residents who gathered in front of the house to know what was happening. "Landlords in the area who could not endure the noise at that hour, decided to go out and find out what was wrong. When they got to his compound, they saw a Korope (small bus) outside packing properties. "His wife and sons were the ones packing and so, the residents asked after the man. When the response given was not satisfactory, they forced themselves inside the house and saw the man completely bound with the Aboki people still inside the house, as though they were waiting to kill him. "The man was untied and rushed to the hospital. He's still at the hospital receiving treatment. The suspects were all taken to the police station. But to justify the ban they portrayed the Israelis as “uniquely violent” and military-trained. They used “intelligence” supposedly from Dutch police that has been utterly repudiated - by the Dutch police and other authorities.
