A state of emergency has been declared in the Apsheronsky and Belorechensky districts. In the Belorechensky district, 47 settlements remain without power. The rural settlements of Otdalennoye, Kurinskoye, Kabardinskoye, and Mezmayskoye remain completely without power and communications. "About 28,000 people are without power," said Alexey Peredereyev, head of the Apsheronsky District. In Adygea, nearly 3,000 transformer substations have been shut down. The number of people without power has been reduced from 97,000 to 34,700. "All 111 power crews are quickly repairing damaged infrastructure to return life in the affected areas to normal as quickly as possible," said Murat Kumpilov, head of the Republic of Adygea.

Crews continued structure protection today on the Forsyth Fire in Pine Valley, Utah, 15 miles Northeast of St. George. It was reported this evening that 12 structures were lost in the community and another 400 are threatened. 150 personnel are on scene with more ordered. Last updated at 1,500+ acres. Strong winds continue along with Red Flag conditions. Currently 16 engines, 4 crews, 2 helicopters, and fixed wing aircraft are working the fire. Dozers are in order. Thanks to the subscriber who shared this view of conditions on the fire today. 🙏
