A state of emergency has been declared in the Apsheronsky and Belorechensky districts. In the Belorechensky district, 47 settlements remain without power. The rural settlements of Otdalennoye, Kurinskoye, Kabardinskoye, and Mezmayskoye remain completely without power and communications. "About 28,000 people are without power," said Alexey Peredereyev, head of the Apsheronsky District. In Adygea, nearly 3,000 transformer substations have been shut down. The number of people without power has been reduced from 97,000 to 34,700. "All 111 power crews are quickly repairing damaged infrastructure to return life in the affected areas to normal as quickly as possible," said Murat Kumpilov, head of the Republic of Adygea.
