Fine Mexico daily and extract it in whatever legal fashion is most expedient in convincing Mexico to take responsibility for its waste. If unable to take care of its obligations, we should annex the land, build a treatment plant and charge Mexico a fee to process their garbage.

It was unacceptable over 60 years ago when I grew up minutes from the border in California. Even the beach at the Hotel Del Coronado would warn of incoming sewage. How on Earth is this still allowed?

@RobertKennedyJr @CAgovernor need immediate attention There is a San Diego Coast district (619) 767-2370 district director is Karl Schwing director number (562) 590-5071. Also Peter Allen handles environmental justice (415) 904-5200. Need to have California stand up and actually protect the California Coast Line from raw sewage from Mexico. California Coastal Commission needs to do their job and “PROTECT”.

What does it mean when you say "hold Mexico accountable" ? We keep hearing that, and it's become meaningless. Yes more people know about it. Are they going to fix it ? No. Has Lee Zeldin come to see it ? No. You're working hard. I hope the EPA is being honest with you.

Why don't you return it to them. Fill up several firefighting air tankers with the liquid and air drop it back on the city centers & neighborhoods that are causing the pollution. As a good Neighbor we wouldn't want to keep their property and I'm sure they'd love to have it back

I grew up surfing and fishing in imperial beach. The sewage would run intermittently when TJ was shaking down SD for cash. This full time flow is them literally Shitting on America.

Jim, why doesn't the U.S. just build a sewage treatment facility where your standing to process this sewage? Obviously Mexico will not take responsibility for it.

Not only is Gavin Newsom allowing Mexico to drain 22 billion gallons of raw sewage into America but Mexico is also dumping their trash California Rep Carl DeMaio exposes “Mexico has been quietly dumping thousands and thousands of tons of their garbage on our side of the border” “This is something you're not hearing from the liberal media, even though they claim to be pro-environment. The government of Mexico has been quietly dumping thousands and thousands of tons of their garbage on our side of the border. This comes after we've already caught them dumping millions and millions of gallons of their sewage into our beaches and our bays. A state legislator representing the border community down here in San Diego. And I just fired off a request to the US federal government for a federal investigation into the illegal dumping of this garbage on our side of the border. It's not fair that our environment gets contaminated by the trash dumped by the Mexican government. And it doesn't seem that Governor Newsom or any of the Democrat politicians that run our state have any care about the environment or the impact to taxpayers, because now we have to pick up all this trash at our expense and put it in our landfills and we don't have a whole lot of space left in our landfills. So I'm calling for a federal investigation by the US EPA and the International Border Environmental Agency to get to the bottom of this and to sanction Mexico if they keep dumping their sewage and their garbage on our side of the border.” “Gavin Newsom and Democrat politicians talk about being pro-environment, why are you letting Mexico dump sewage and now garbage on our side of the border? It's insane.”
