Update* Pearl Abyss has patched this flight trick with the latest update. Honestly I'm kind of disappointed that they did patch this because it really was one of the coolest methods to make Kliff gain a huge boost in speed during Flight. Here's how it looks now:

Speed Boost NERFED? Madden 27 Patch 🚨 Today’s patch targeted the speed boost exploit that’s been a huge part of Madden/CFB for awhile now. From my testing it feels different but as someone who was never great at it, i'm not ready to declare it dead. Here's some examples ↓

Here's what Crimson Desert does right: >It is one of very few AAA games that hasn't switched to Unreal Engine 5, instead Pearl Abyss developed this game on their own proprietary game engine >Pearl Abyss refused Sony's offer to make this game a timed PS5 exclusive >3 Performance modes on base consoles Performance, Balanced and Quality (except Xbox Series S) >PSSR 2 day one for PS5 Pro and FSR Redstone day one for PC >The developers were very open to performance testing and reviews >Offers so many gameplay mechanics that give the player freedom to finish quests and missions any way that they want to >It is highly detailed and massive open-world game with a huge focus on exploration This game is a breath of fresh air, if it manages to live up to the hype and delivers, Pearl Abyss will definitely become one of the best open-world developers!

A new Patch for Crimson Desert has just dropped and it includes a long list of changes and fixes. The rate at which Pearl Abyss is working on Crimson Desert actually insane! What are they feeding these developers?

This woman has celiac disease and has been gluten free for over 10 years now. She takes the precautions she needs to take so she doesn’t get sick. Today in the flight she was given a croissant and was told that it was gluten free. Only after she had already eaten that they told her a mistake was made and that it was a normal one. She’s now at the restroom after her flight and she’s trying to make herself throw up so that it may lesson the blow. Food allergies are a huge deal, should this airline be sued for this?

I think they would benefit with a delay too if this is the kind of performance the game will have at launch. A polished product is always better than a rushed one. If they're aiming for a Spring release I'm really hoping they manage to make the performance better than this somehow, if they don't then they should delay it to Q2/Q3 2026

Character Switching in Crimson Desert when Kliff and Damiane are nearby is so seamless and instantaneous, you don't even have to go through a loading screen. It reminds me of those early GTA 6 leaks where a dev would switch instantly between Lucia and Jason. Huge props to Pearl Abyss for getting this game mechanic right from the start

This woman claims she was kicked off of a Frontier flight because of her disability of being deaf. In this clip she uploaded, she can be seen conversing with the flight attendant with no issues, she’s responding to their verbal conversation. Frontier has stated that her reservation did not have any disability indications mentioned. They also clarified that she was removed from the flight for bringing an alcoholic beverage onto the flight. When confronted about the drink she decided not to give it up but to hurry up and consume it. The beverage in question was purchased at the airport and also had a warning sticker on it that stated that it cannot be brought on board a plane per federal guidelines. Everyone is now telling her to sue the airline for discrimination, however if what Frontier has stated is true, she actually broke the law with the alcoholic beverage, knowing what you know now do you feel she was kicked off for being disabled?

Speed Boost might ACTUALLY be gone in CFB27 🚨 We thought the last patch fixed it too, so I’m not ready to say it’s completely dead yet. But player movement feels noticeably different after today’s update. This is what it looks like now ↓

Update..This was the flight path of the Cessna 550 Citation that took off from Statesville airport and immediately turned around and tried to land. It did crash on that landing attempt back at the airport. More-->

° SEGMENT ° Feels a bit weird posting a segment AFTER sharing my new Top 100, but that's also kinda my fault for doing it this way. Here's one of the coolest parts of the latest Flavor Rave DLC though. I really love how creative they got with the middle part of this song.

Took a flight to Masvingo with Air Zim and honestly? It was a great experience. The new upgrades at the airport make a huge difference refreshing to see progress in smaller cities!

There are a huge variety of puzzles in Crimson Desert, so far each one that I have encountered in the open world has been different to the previous one I've finished. Each one of them required different approaches that sometimes it took me several minutes to finish. Once you finish the puzzle, it gives you this incredible feeling of achievement because you know you did it all by yourself, with no help whatsoever. Most games would usually start giving you hints not even a minute after you start working on a puzzle

So the last speed FlightRadar recorded of the doomed Amazon flight into Miami was 79mph. Looks like it got the resting place right. This view makes it much easier to understand where it really is for frequent 67th st users. RIP

Why don't we have this level of NPC density in recent AAA Games? Assassins Creed: Unity was by no means perfect, you can clearly see some NPCs popping into the frame while you're playing and some others not load properly, but it came out in 2014! It was designed on previous-gen consoles that ran on a Hard Drive and it was a game that was so rushed, Ubisoft never bothered to give it the love that it deserved. If there's one thing that still fascinates me about this game even today is the sheer number of NPCs that are rendered into this open world, it simply feels alive. By 2025, you'd think that most AAA game studios would have already gotten over these issues like NPCs popping into the frame and we would have Open World games that feel more alive than ever before. Nope, instead of huge number of NPCs, modern gaming companies are more focused on bringing Ray Tracing features which I have nothing against if it wasn't for having a such a small number of NPCs. I'm not an expert to determine what the exact reason behind having so few NPCs really is but I honestly would love if Ubisoft gave another shot at this kind of tech. Thankfully one of the games that looks like it will have this huge number of NPCs is Grand Theft Auto VI, by the screenshots and Trailers alone, it reminded me of how alive Unity really felt and I can't wait until that game comes out.

Pearl Abyss has made another bug into a feature in Crimson Desert There was a bug that allowed you to use focus to get a HUGE boost while gliding Last week this was fixed but players were unhappy so now PA added it as a real mechanic with a new skill!

Here's a timelapse of me going to space in Crimson Desert. This was first discovered by YouTube Creator "ItemRelocationClub" and the way you do this is by installing a mod that gives you infinite stamina, then using aerial stab to go up you can reach space. It took quite some time, but once you go high enough you can see what looks to be the Earth's atmosphere! The milky way is clearly visible and I also did a short timelapse while I was there. When free falling, Kliff also looks like he's doing an atmospheric entry as he looks like he is catching fire, I don't know exactly if this effect was intentional or not as my lantern was on. Either way, the game looks incredible and makes me wonder if we'll ever get some DLC or a future open world game from Pearl Abyss that allows us to travel to space.
