Crimson Desert players found a trick that allowed them to fly by spamming the stab ability while airborne Pearl Abyss saw this exploit & instead of patching it, added a whole new animation, making it a real mechanic THIS is how you treat players right!

No PS5 footage of Crimson Desert before release as confirmed by John from Digital Foundry. FYI - the PS5 pro footage of Crimson Desert from DF was tested on a console that was given to DF by Pearl Abyss with the game pre -installed on it, so they don't have a key to install on PS5.

Found a pallet bug while playing against this Wesker and it had us so confused. Blight, on the other hand, was not amused. Obviously bugs need to be fixed, but sometimes they create the funniest, most unexpected moments. It’s those random in game laughs you get to share with other players that make the community worth it. Wesker 💛

For those experiencing crunchy hair, please be sure to use Unlimited Skin Weights! Here is a small tutorial on how to enable that setting in Warudo! 🩷 -^u^- Also, there was a minor bug with the back hair, I fixed that so please redownload the files! (You only need to move the C3D_NewBackHair.warudo file into your Props folder)

Mike Wang Not sure if this was done on purpose to prevent spamming, a bug, a mistake, or if its just a skill issue but please double check the mechanic to do this specific move. It felt really hard to do for some reason... #NBA2K27

Update* Pearl Abyss has patched this flight trick with the latest update. Honestly I'm kind of disappointed that they did patch this because it really was one of the coolest methods to make Kliff gain a huge boost in speed during Flight. Here's how it looks now:

Is Pearl Abyss’ decision to ship Crimson Desert with Denuvo a dealbreaker for you?? 👀 PC fans aren’t impressed since Pearl Abyss quietly added heavy anti-piracy DRM, Denuvo, to the Steam version just ONE WEEK before launch. Fans are concerned as the software can cause FPS drops & stuttering. Playstation and Xbox versions are completely unaffected.

There was a fix for a very rare Switch bug that made it into patch 5.26 of #NoMansSky. This one in graphics programming is called “NaN propagation” and the reproduction case involved our Depth Of Field shaders. It was unique to Switch because this platform stabilises DOF using a temporal history to increase quality with hand-held resolution. “Not A Number” from some bad lighting values got into this history and caused the white expanding horror bug! These errors are now protected against and this bug can’t happen again.. always fun to see and track down!

Character Switching in Crimson Desert when Kliff and Damiane are nearby is so seamless and instantaneous, you don't even have to go through a loading screen. It reminds me of those early GTA 6 leaks where a dev would switch instantly between Lucia and Jason. Huge props to Pearl Abyss for getting this game mechanic right from the start

Did you know?? Crimson Desert could have been a PlayStation exclusive. But Pearl Abyss turned down Sony’s offer. Do you think they made the right call?? Back in September 2024, Sony approached Pearl Abyss with a deal to make Crimson Desert a timed PlayStation 5 exclusive. Delaying its release on Xbox for 1 year, and included the distribution rights for PC. Making Sony the sole publisher. Pearl Abyss opted to turn down the offer and reserve the right to self publish on all platforms, believing this to be the more profitable route. #CrimsonDesert #PlayStation #Sony

A new mod for Crimson Desert has just been released that removes the Stamina limit for Gliding and Sprinting. If you don't like how quickly the stamina gets drained during gliding, this mod allows you to configure how slowly the Stamina drains (75%, 50%, 25%, 10% slower or infinite Stamina). Here's how gliding looks like now in Crimson Desert with this mod installed

figured out how i got hacked and this is INSANE….. this one connected app i had made it look like it was just a UI bug or an invalid session, but you have to SCROLL through a bunch of blank lines to get to the bottom in order to revoke permissions actually blew my mind seeing that it was so easy to fix, i must have connected to SOME site a while ago and fell for the social engineering that made me think it doesn’t let me revoke be careful out there yall

For people asking about the “rare graphical glitch that caused some creature models to explode”… here’s a video showing the bug - it’s one that I fixed and was caused by certain creatures with fur when rendering them as a hologram - a silly bug with the “shells” geometry shader
