FedEx Plans MD-11 return by May 31 despite UPS ditching the type forever after Louisville crash (engine detach, 15 fatalities). FedEx: 'We're fixing what needs fixing with Boeing/FAA. UPS: 767s incoming. FedEx gambling on cheap ops vs. safety upgrades... smart or reckless? Cargo needs reliable birds, but crash changes everything.

2. Delivery & Logistics UPS and FedEx kept growing right through 2008. Hell, FedEx even increased profitability. Turns out goods still need to move whether Wall Street's having a party or a panic attack. The industry projects 4.3% growth regardless of what the economy does.

UPS just pulled the plug on all 27 MD-11Fs... announced in today's earnings, $137M hit after the November Flight 2976 tragedy (15 lost in Louisville engine-separation crash). FAA grounded the type, UPS says they're out permanently. But... was this rushed? The aircraft was fixable per some reports, FedEx plans spring 2026 return. UPS was already phasing them anyway. Feels like PR + cost-cutting disguised as safety. Tragedy was horrific, but killing a whole fleet over one incident? What do y'all think.. smart business or overreaction? Will FedEx actually fly theirs again?

This FedEx delivery driver on camera just tossing down a huge package onto the ground. My question is- Why? Not all delivery drivers are bad but it’s the few like this that give the industry a bad name. One FedEx driver said “I deliver the packages like they were my own.” Another said he suggested the homeowner send the video to FedEx. Have you ever caught your delivery driver throwing your package? Out of the three, who do you have more faith in when it comes to deliveries- UPS, FedEx or Amazon?
