U.S. intelligence intercepted an encoded Iranian broadcast — relayed across multiple countries shortly after Khamenei was killed in the Feb. 28 U.S.-Israeli strike. The transmission bypasses internet and cellular entirely, encoded for recipients who hold the decryption key. Authorities assessed it as potentially intended to deliver instructions to “prepositioned...

🚨NEW: A senior Iranian official tells Drop Site’s Jeremy Scahill and Murtaza Husssin: “There aren’t any negotiations taking place. The Iranian side has simply communicated its conditions to [the U.S.] and even that has been done indirectly,” adding that U.S. messages have also only been passed through intermediary countries. 🔸 The same official said Iran’s conditions for ending the war include: 1. A simultaneous ceasefire in Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, rejecting a limited deal like the 2025 “12-Day War,” which Tehran says was used to buy time for renewed attacks. 2. On missiles, the official said: “Given its defensive nature in countering Israel, this program will continue unchanged and with increased intensity in the event of a ceasefire… The missile program shall not be subject to negotiation under any prospective talks.” 3. On nuclear policy, the official said: “In light of the violations of international law by the United States, as well as Israel’s extensive attacks on nuclear facilities, Iran will formulate a new doctrine,” and that enrichment activities “will continue, either independently or in cooperation with China and Russia.” 4. On reparations: The official added Iran will pursue compensation for damages caused by U.S. and Israeli strikes in any future agreement. 🔸 Iranian officials say Trump’s public statements are aimed at stabilizing markets, with one official saying: “The fact that he publicly responds… is solely intended to manage the financial markets—nothing more.” 🔸 Trump, meanwhile, continues to insist talks are happening, saying his envoys held “very strong talks” and adding he won’t identify the Iranian contact because “I don’t want him to be killed.” 🔸 Iranian officials say U.S. messages, received through intermediaries, are inconsistent and “difficult to assess,” and any willingness to halt attacks appears to be “aimed at reassuring” intermediator countries and are “not taken seriously,” by Tehran. 🎥 jeremy scahill discusses the latest report on Daniel Davis Deep Dive. ❗️❗️❗️ Iran is reportedly anticipating a large-scale U.S.–Israeli air and naval assault unlike anything the Middle East has seen since 2003. 📰🚨 Key developments: 🎯 According to YNET, Israel assesses that Trump may “soon” launch a large-scale strike on Iran. Israeli officials believe that amid stalled nuclear negotiations, the U.S. president could initiate a joint U.S.–Israel operation in the coming days. 🔹 “American patience with Iran’s delay tactics may run out faster than Tehran expects.” 🔹 Israeli officials do not expect a short strike, but rather a weeks-long military campaign targeting Iran’s ballistic missile program, IRGC institutions, and potentially elements of the regime leadership. 🟥 U.S. forces have built up a massive regional presence — what Trump described as a “beautiful armada.” Israeli officials say this is not for show. One Israeli source told CNN that a potential strike would “go far beyond the scope of the 12-day war” and involve coordinated, large-scale U.S.–Israeli operations. 🇮🇱 Israel has elevated its combat readiness level, anticipating possible Iranian missile retaliation — even if Israel does not directly participate in the initial phase. The Home Front Command and emergency services are on full alert. 🔹 The Houthis are expected to engage immediately. Hezbollah could also open a front. 📌 A senior U.S. official told Axios that the latest Geneva talks with Iran were a “nothing burger” — meaning no meaningful progress — and that Trump is leaning toward military action. 🇺🇸 U.S. officials told i24NEWS that “military forces are not deployed to the region just to sit at bases for weeks.” 🟥 Due to Israeli military censorship restrictions, details remain limited, but Channel 12 reports that Israel’s rescue services and Home Front Command have been instructed to prepare for war; a high-level defensive alert has been declared. 🔹 Israel does not rule out a preemptive move by the Iranian regime. Some Israeli security officials believe the timeline for potential strikes may be measured in days rather than weeks. Follow, repost, like, and comment on the posts at NSTRIKE.

BREAKING NEWS: Top U.S. Nuclear Chief Caught LEAKING Sensitive National Security Information to Stranger, Reveals Army Chemist Was Exposed to U.S. Chemical Nerve Agent, Confirms U.S. Strike Killed Children in Iran, Discloses U.S. Plans to ‘Kill Iran’s New Supreme Leader’ “If he [Mojtaba Khamenei] doesn't change his ways, yeah, they're [United States] going to kill him.” “The easiest way to get intelligence…send a pretty girl, talk to the guy…I have to resist your eyes.” “Your eyes have mesmerized me so much…Almost like you're an intelligence.” Andrew Hugg, a U.S. Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, was caught on hidden camera casually revealing sensitive information to a stranger in a public restaurant. Andrew Hugg, Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, in charge of nuclear and chemical safety was caught on hidden camera releasing information regarding the U.S. Nuclear Information. He claims the U.S. still possesses nerve agents and says a U.S. Army chemist recently died from exposure. He also acknowledges U.S. airstrikes have killed children in Iran, calling it “collateral damage,” and revealed to the journalist how nuclear launch decisions are made in real time. Hugg described how the United States could assassinate Iran’s next leader if he “doesn’t change,” while admitting the U.S. has no plans to use nuclear weapons: “We’re not going to nuke anybody.” All of this was casually revealed to an undercover journalist in a restaurant. This raises serious questions about this official's judgment, security, and what’s really happening behind closed doors. We have reached out to the Pentagon and U.S. Army for comment and they are working on a response. U.S. Army Department of War 🇺🇸

BREAKING NEWS - An Iranian missile wounded at least 15 U.S. troops, five seriously, in Saudi Arabia, it was confirmed today. An E-3 Sentry, which is an American flying attack command center, was also hit, the Wall St Journal reported this morning. The US had been using it to control multiple missiles and drones over Iran. At least one more refueling aircraft was also hit at the same location – adding to the five which were damaged or destroyed in an earlier successful missile strike. Under UN rules, the Iranian strike is legal, as the Prince Sultan Airbase near Riyadh was used to launch the US-Israel unprovoked attack on their country. The US can only claim to have destroyed one third of Iran’s missiles, US intelligence said, contradicting claims by Trump that Iranian defences had been wiped out. This is despite the fact that the US has now made more than 11,000 airstrikes on Iran, according to US Centcom. . ANSAH ALLAH JOINS DEFENCE - Yemen’s Ansah Allah people, known in the west as the Houthi, have joined the defense of Iran. The group in the past few hours made two missile attacks on IDF military facilities. Ansah Allah made headlines in July 2025 ago by using the OTHER Strait in the region, the Red Sea chokepoint, as a bargaining tool to stop rich western countries supplying the IDF attack on Gaza. In that case, as in this case, friendly countries such as China were allowed to pass through the Strait, while ships allied to Israel and the US were prevented from transit. This is Washington’s worst nightmare [see map in video]. Saudi Arabia has been diverting traffic to the Red Sea strait. If that path is blocked too – ouch. . In related news, - Iran has made peace pacts with Thailand and Pakistan, also in the past few hours. They will join the Chinese as countries whose ships will be able to use the Strait of Hormuz with no problems.

Iran war, day 96! Iran has turned the game on its head! Iran’s president confirms that Iran has a nuke to the Pakistani prime minister. •The NSA may have intercepted this call •the Pakistani fm let the U.S. know -CIA Intel agent Larry Johnson confirms -Veteran journalist Pepe Escobar confirms -The IRGC previously confirms -Iran will demo its nuke on its time My analysis: Iran’s disclosure of a nuclear weapon is a massive humiliation to the Trump regime and Israel who committed two illegal wars against Iran, lost both while claiming victory defined by preventing Iran from obtaining nuke. This massive humiliation further solidifies Trump’s failed presidency and confirms America is a paper tiger who did its utmost for 39 days to defeat Iran while suffering a one sided defeat. How has Trump changed his tune since this news was exposed last week? Isn’t it interesting how Trump seems so much more diplomatic? Trump: "We actually spoke with Hezbollah for the first time. We didn’t know they spoke." •perhaps because he kept bombing them Trump on Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei: “Yeah, I’d like to meet him. I’d love to meet everybody. I would like to meet him and we probably will meet at some point, depending on how it all works out.” •Trump previously said Mojtaba is gay? •What changed? How did Trump respond to Iran levelling Kuwait and striking Bahrain? ‘They Were Slightly Provoked’: Trump DownplayedIran’s Attacks Targeting US Bases in Kuwait and Bahrain At least one person was killed, and dozens were injured during Iran's attack on Kuwait Iran launched missile and drone attacks on the GCC terror states after the US bombed a commercial ship attempting to reach Iran and launched strikes on Iran’s Qeshm island. During the Iranian attack on Kuwait, a passenger terminal at Kuwait’s international airport was hit, and at least one person was killed, and more than 60 were injured. Trump has completely sold out gulf allies in fear of a nuclear Iran! How has Iran responded since? Iranian Navy targeted a U.S. warship in the Sea of Oman •But Trump said Iran has no navy •see video below •Trump has yet to respond. How has Hezbollah responded? •Hezbollah launched a 2nd drone •it set of sirens in the Western Galilee What is a deal breaker for Trump? Per Hebrew channel 12: -Trump said he would consider ending the ceasefire with Iran if Tehran caused the death of American soldiers. •and that’s why he’s covering up deaths Eg. US DOW: A soldier died at Erbil Air Base in Iraq due to an accident during military training. lol yeah right. In the meantime Trump/israel have violated the ceasefire 6x in 10 days like the terrorist, barbarians they are with zero regard for international law. Who does Trump black for the war he started? “Israel needed us. They couldn't have done it without us. They couldn't have even come close. They needed us, and they got us to help them.” What are the consequences of trump’s failed foreign policies? Per US Army spokesperson: • We are facing financial pressures due to the war with Iran, border operations, and rising fuel prices. •impact to military training plans. • impact to cost of transporting personnel, supplies, and equipment. • The Army has issued directives to ration resources. •expect fuel rationing and difficult times ahead. Sen. Jacobs to Rubio: You say we are winning because the Iranian economy is suffering from inflation and losing millions daily. Well, we are also suffering from inflation. This inflation has cost us about $100 billion so far, and gasoline prices have risen. You say the war is over, but that's not what US intelligence agencies are saying. CIA analyst Pollack says Trump in a stalemate with Iran What is the extent of war crimes by the kosher terror state? -WHO: 190 Israeli terror attacks on healthcare workers in Lebanon in 3 months -17 hospitals have been damaged. -3 hospitals and 42 health centers remain closed.

Iran war, day 140 | Iran hits back hard at GCC infrastructure and U.S. assets in kind Has the U.S. achieved any of its objectives in Iran? Not according to Israeli media! Per Ya'alon: “We failed in the war against Iran and none of the goals were achieved” Per Former Israeli War Minister Moshe Ya’alon: -I believe we failed, and worse, US blames us. •it was Israel’s initiative to strike Iran -We started the war with three goals: 1. Overthrowing the Iranian regime 2. Destroying the nuclear program 3. damaging the missile project -None of these goals were achieved. What war crimes did the U.S. commit today? Explosions have been reported in Sirik, Ahvaz, Bandar Abbas, and on Kish Island. -the U.S. recently struck a water desalination plant in Hormorzgan -10,000 people are left without a water -not a single GCC terror state has condemned this war crime -Iran warned they will respond in kind and they did to Kuwait -Kuwait is a major sponsor of US terrorism -Iran struck a power station and water desalination facility in Kuwait twice over two days. -and now gulf states are up in arms blaming Iran -where was their outrage when the U.S. struck 100s of Iranian schools, medical facilities, hospitals and bridges and murdered over 6000 Iranians? Where was their outrage when the U.S. struck multiple Iranian water desalination plants? The US struck two strategic water tanks in the Bemani district of Sirik, southern Iran, completely destroying them and cutting off water distribution in all villages of the Bemani district and the city of Kohstak, per Iran's Hormozgan Water and Sanitation Authority. This is the fourth US strike on Iranian water infrastructure in recent days. Not a single gulf terror state has condemned US war crimes in Iran that have murdered Iranian women and children. So why doesn’t Iran strike Israel’s water facilities they say? -because then Palestinians won’t have access to clean water -Israel uses Palestinian human shields all across occupied Palestine How badly is Iran beating American air defence systems? Per WSJ: Iran has seemingly cracked the code on beating U.S. missile defenses. U.S. Officials say their missiles are flying faster and pulling crazy maneuvers, making them tough to stop. Plus, their aim is getting a lot better. Iran uses China’s Baidu system, and not US GPS for its signals intelligence and mapping. -the US has no answer for this and can’t hack the system The U.S. continues to lick its wounds in the kosher loving state of Jordan! New York Times: - Iran damaged a large number of American helicopters in Jordan - The American helicopters are Black Hawk models, each valued at $21 million -Iran also vaporized and injured scores of American invaders terrorists serving Israel How significant are iran’s strikes on Kuwait? -Two important US bases in Kuwait, have been destroyed! -In response to the US’s repeated aggressions, the martyrdom of dear compatriots, and attacks on bridges, infrastructure, and civilian areas in the sixteenth phase of Operation Thunderbolt, the Iranian army targeted the ammunition depot of the terrorist US army at Camp Al-Adairi and the Patriot radar and air radar of this aggressor army at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait with heavy attacks from its destructive drones. -Camp Al-Adairi is one of the important bases of the terrorist US army in the region, located 104 kilometers from the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and is a major center for supporting and reorganizing American forces. -Disrupting the operations of this base will have a significant impact on the army's support operations in the region. -Ali Al Salem Air Base is also one of the important bases, the main air transport center, and the gateway for military forces to enter the West Asia region, playing a pivotal role in the military and logistical strategy of the aggressor US army in the region. Intelligence Agencies have infiltrated the media. “In this three-part investigative series, Walkley award-winning journalist Sarah Ferguson follows the spies and the money trail from Washington, to London, to Moscow, to deliver a riveting account of the allegations and evidence against US President Donald Trump and his dubious connections to Russia………….. Features interviews with former Trump campaign officials and associates, including Roger Stone, Carter Page, JD Gordon and Felix Sater, along with a host of US and UK intelligence operatives, journalists and Russian insiders.” •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• It’s not just Sky News that colludes with Intelligence Agencies. The ABC does it as well. In estimates I asked the ABC why they still have a Four Corners program up on their website from 2019 claiming that Donald Trump was colluding with the Russians. Given that this story has been proven to be false why hasn’t the ABC pulled it. Needless to say the ABC spun the line that the journalist telling the story was one of the most esteemed journalists in the country and the information was accurate at the time, with the final remark being they would take it on notice. This is complete rubbish. The information was completely inaccurate and it was propagated by the CIA and MI6 to influence the outcome of the 2020 US elections so that the intelligence agencies could control the White House. Once inside the White House the Intelligence Agencies would start the Ukraine War which they did and control the information feed to the people by the media which they also control. We shouldn’t let News Corp off the hook on this point either as the most prominent critic of the Ukraine war, Tucker Carlson was sacked by Murdoch on the request of the Intelligence Agencies. Nor the Liberal Party as former Foreign Affairs minister Alexander Downer was also tied up with collecting dirt on Trump. (If you haven’t worked it out by now the Liberal Party is also controlled by the Intelligence Agencies.) It’s no coincidence that since Trump has pulled up stumps on Ukraine the British Government is now leading the charge to start World War Three. It’s incredibly important that the Intelligence Agencies are held to account by our politicians. Unfortunately only myself and Alex Antic are awake to the treasonous behaviour and the extent of their reach into the media, political parties and the bureaucracy such as the TGA. That’s why I am asking for your vote at the upcoming Federal Election as no other politician has the guts to ask the questions that need to be answered. Quote from: #auspol

Today is September 9. It is Day 193 of Trump's "2-3 week war" to overthrow Iran's government and send Iran "back to the stone age" that started on February 28. Today, after carrying out three different attacks on American military infrastructure without the U.S. responding, Iran launched a massive retaliatory attack on U.S. bases in Jordan with 30-40 ballistic missiles in response to U.S. attacks on Iranian oil tankers. Despite false claims by CENTCOM, the Strait of Hormuz remains largely impassable due to the actions of the IRGC Navy, which Trump claims to have completely destroyed. American gas prices remain at an all-time high for this war as a result. Most/all Iranian missile bases remain fully functional, and only a few of Iran's hundreds of ballistic missile launchers have been targeted by U.S. airstrikes in the last few months. Iran retains thousands of ballistic missiles in their underground cities. America's interceptor stockpiles are becoming more and more critically low as days go by - a trend that is only being worsened for them after they launched over 100 Patriot PAC-2/3 interceptors during today's Iranian attack. The Iranian government and military command structure remains firmly in place, and there are no signs of cracks within their chain of command or inner circles. This was has exposed America's weaknesses for the entire world to see, and they aren't even fighting a great power like Russia or China, but rather a middling/regional power. America's remaining reputation on the international stage is now extremely tarnished, and even their allies are beginning to turn towards China as a more reliable trading partner. I can say that as someone in New Zealand, while my country has historically been one of, if not the most politically "anti-American" western countries in the world, any confidence or trust in the U.S. here has completely collapsed, as we now view them as an imperialist joke. More people here view China as a "friend" compared to the U.S. for the first time ever. I can imagine other countries are experiencing a similar phenomenon.

🚨 BREAKING: KURDISH FORCES REPORTEDLY LAUNCH GROUND OFFENSIVE INTO IRAN A U.S. official has told Fox News that thousands of Iraqi Kurdish fighters have launched a ground offensive into Iran, opening what could become a new front in the war. The development comes on day five of Operation Epic Fury, as U.S. and Israeli forces continue large-scale strikes across Iran. According to the latest figures being reported:• Over 2,000 Iranian targets have been hit • More than 20 Iranian naval vessels destroyed • 500+ ballistic missiles launched by Iran • Over 2,000 drones fired in retaliation Pentagon officials say Iran’s military capability is declining rapidly, with ballistic missile launches reportedly down around 88% since the start of the campaign. At sea, U.S. forces appear to be tightening the pressure. Reports say an American submarine torpedoed and sank one of Iran’s major naval vessels, a rare submarine attack against a warship not seen often since World War II. Meanwhile, U.S. military leadership says the campaign is expanding rather than slowing, with more aircraft and strike capabilities arriving in the region. The White House says the objective remains unchanged: eliminate Iran’s ability to threaten the United States and its allies with missiles, drones, and nuclear weapons. If Kurdish forces are indeed operating inside Iran, the conflict may now be shifting from pure air war to multi-front pressure on the ground.

⭕️ REPORT | Israel has been bombing parts of western Iran while targeting police stations and security posts across the country, to support Iranian Kurdish separatist groups with a possible offensive, three sources familiar with the talks told Reuters. ▪️ Sky News’ data and forensics team identified at least 45 police stations and law-enforcement facilities hit across Iran, including many in Kurdish regions of the northwest. ▪️ The scale of the bombardment is immense: the Israeli military says it has dropped more than 5,000 bombs, while the U.S. says it has struck more than 2,000 targets in Iran. ▪️ Israeli officials have held talks for about a year with Iranian Kurdish insurgent groups based in Iraqi Kurdistan, while the militias have also consulted with U.S. officials about whether and how to confront Iranian security forces, Reuters reported. ▪️ Reuters reports Israel has been bombing western Iran to support Iranian Kurdish militant groups that hope to exploit the war to seize territory near the Iraqi frontier. An Israeli source said backing the groups could erode Tehran’s control over border regions and distract the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. ▪️ Reuters’ sources said the Kurdish factions’ initial goal would be to capture the towns of Oshnavieh and Piranshahr, with thousands of fighters gathering on the Iraqi side of the border. Reuters said it could not independently confirm the timeline for any offensive. (Sources: Reuters; Sky News data and forensics analysis)

The thing about war is, it’s not a one way street as Pete Hegseth would have you believe. Take a look at this report from the New York Times. As you can see, a series of satellite images were released showing damage at U.S. bases across the region, some of which killed American military personnel. The question is, do you believe the account of the Iranians or the ‘nothing to see here’ US account? It turns out the Iranian account is correct and the American response was to instruct satellite companies to remove the incriminating images. Just as Hegseth can’t bring himself to admit that they killed over a hundred elementary school girls on day one in an erroneous triple tap, he wants to hide the extensive damage caused by precision attacks by Iran on U.S. assets. We know time and again Trump has lied about Iran begging him to do a deal, and that as a result, billions have been made from market manipulation. Even now, he’s is claiming Iran wants a deal as fire is being exchanged in the Strait of Hormuz, exchanges that he yesterday described as ‘love taps’. In critical times of war it’s not a good look when enemy accounts of events are proved to be accurate while your own president and Secretary of Defense is found to be repeatedly lying. The cost of this conflict has been laughably estimated to be $25 billion when credible inside U.S. sources claim that over 50% of critical missile stocks have been depleted. The obvious question being, imagine what damage Iran could have done given the extensive ACTUAL damage the U.S. have tried to hide? The narrative is that Iran are days away from economic catastrophe, yet the CIA have reported that Iran could survive the U.S. blockade for up to three months. The whole U.S. narrative, just like the administration’s economic and foreign policy agenda is built on a lie, in a fantasy world that Trump expects us to join him, while it falls apart at the seams. It has been said time and again by military and foreign policy experts that this war of choice was a mistake. There has been no regime change or popular uprising. If anything the new Iranian leadership is more hardline than it was before. There was no imminent nuclear threat, that was just another in a litany of lies to justify what was an attempt to extort Iran and seize their oil as had happened in Venezuela. In his blinkered quest for glory and self enrichment, Trump assumed Iran was just another ‘shit hole country’ incapable of resisting the might of the U.S. military. He understood nothing of the Iranian decentralized command and control ‘mosaic strategy’. In his own words he did not think they would close the Strait of Hormuz or attack Gulf states. He simply expected Iran to capitulate, so Kushner and Witkoff could hand them his Qatari bank details for them to send him his cut of their oil sales. As things stand, he is out of options, the global South is creaking as their economies experience unnecessary distress, gas prices are at $4.50 and if he told the truth as opposed to lying, oil prices would likely be at $200 a barrel. The Strait of Hormuz is closed, the enriched uranium has not been removed. Iranian drone and missile stocks remain at over 50% with some estimates putting them at 70% and Trump is claiming victory, suggesting Iran has no cards. He’s living in a fantasy world having wasted billions and sacrificed American lives having inflicted irreparable damage to Gulf state alliances. The UAE has now left OPEC while China now describes the US as ‘A superpower with a limp’ In one stupid act, Trump has raised questions about U.S. military power when faced with an asymmetric kinetic response. Questions have arisen about US readiness when it comes to minesweepers and logistics capabilities as US sailors were shown to be rationing food. Nobody is doubting the ability of the U.S. military who performed exactly as expected. The problem is, they’re lions being led by donkeys. 🎥 TikTok -

🚨BREAKING: MULTIPLE ICE agents were caught on video pointing their guns at unarmed U.S. citizens, AGAIN, after assaulting them with pepper spray. This time in Anthony, New Mexico. After arresting one man, an ICE agent walks around the car and pepper-sprays a family member, while other agents are holding down a U.S. citizen. A woman appears to be explaining that the person they’re trying to arrest is a citizen, as he’s seen trying to crawl back toward the sidewalk. Meanwhile, other family members are standing on the sidewalk filming. Then, an agent walks up with his gun and points it toward the people filming. Another agent moves toward the sidewalk and pepper-sprays two people, then backs away… as MULTIPLE other agents draw their weapons. Now, you have FOUR unarmed U.S. citizens standing on a sidewalk with MULTIPLE ICE agents pointing guns at them. Two had just been pepper-sprayed… They were in pain, trying to wipe their eyes and barely able to see. Two were filming/helping the other family members. So, what exactly was the threat? Clearly, there wasn’t one. And one of the unarmed women had to point this out… to the agents pointing guns at HER… before they finally went back to their cars and drove away. These people were unarmed. They were on the sidewalk. They weren’t attacking anyone. They weren’t threatening the agents. Yet, we keep seeing ICE agents escalate these encounters by pulling their firearms on UNARMED U.S. CITIZENS. And we are supposed to just accept that as normal? Absolutely not. Being a federal agent does not put you above the Constitution… And wearing a badge does not give you a license to point a gun at anyone you don’t like.

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents stopped TWO U.S. CITIZENS at a gas station in Brunswick, Georgia, and demanded that they prove they were U.S. citizens. In the video, the two young men, both under 21, are just filling up their car when ICE agents approach them and demand their IDs. The agent looks at the license, asks if they were born in the United States, and when they say yes, the agent responds, “I figured.” Then he gives the license back. These are U.S. citizens, standing at a gas station, doing absolutely nothing wrong, and federal immigration agents approached them and questioned them about their citizenship. The Fourth Amendment does not disappear because the people approaching you are ICE agents. If these young men were being detained, the agents needed reasonable suspicion, based on specific facts, to justify that detention. They cannot just stop people and demand IDs because they want to find out whether they belong in the country. So… WHY DID THE AGENTS APPROACH THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE? What exactly did these agents suspect these two U.S. citizens had done? Because “they looked like they might be immigrants” is not a constitutional justification for stopping someone. And if the answer is that there was no individualized reason to suspect these two people of an immigration violation, then what exactly are we watching? The government is supposed to be bound by the Constitution. Which means, American citizens should not have to prove they are American just because a federal agent decided they looked like they might not be.
