Using multiply to darken skin tones

this looks so good that when it loops back to her pasty white skin i get so disappointed

Why are people talking about this so negatively?? there's plenty of uses for this, like making skin tone options for a model or character creator, adjusting the skin tone of free images for a photobash or photoshop, etc

There’s like two steps that are cropped out bc the dropdown goes out of frame :( I’m very inexperienced at messing with multiply and clipping so I don’t know what they would be

For the cropped out part, I used a Hue/Saturation layer then attached it the skin using Create Clipping Mask.

4 out of the 6 new heroes have human skin tones. all 4 of these are white. there are over 20 heroes with human skin tones in deadlock. 2 of them are black. there are at least 5 times more non-human characters than black ones.

See its not the fact that you did this that bothers me so. It's the fact that if the opposite were done, the folk would find great offence for some reason. Hypocrisy - I can hardly stand it.
