@IlyasCigarette I’ve only read the first book but I was really grossed out by the misogyny from both protagonists. Disappointing but not surprising to hear that this author has a problem with lesbians too.

@IlyasCigarette apparently all her books contain misogyny from what i’m seeing

@IlyasCigarette

It shows how the writing of m/m is fetishization too. The reason is always about how they don’t relate but how do u relate more to men in relationships than women in relationships as a woman urself? Straight women don’t relate to gay relationships much less mlm relationships

it’s so sad that no one cares. people will still support that author and it’s disgusting. i don’t know why they hold onto it considering it’s not even that good. people just don’t give a fuck and my brain hurts thinking about them. i hate anyone that ignores this!

@beereadingshelf i read the first book in off campus as a lesbian. i thought parts of it were okay. but i was very turned off by the fact that the male love interest was practically stalking the female, showing up at her work place after she said leave me alone etc. the entire book is about her +

The MM hockey romance she cowrote that everyone hypes up, Him, is absolute garbage & misogynistic too.

That's so nasty.

I just want good lesbian fics that don’t give creepy. Like I hate when shit is male centered

this coming from a woman is so weird

I literally do not care lots of other authors wrote ff move on

@balkanfinalgirl not interested in writing f/f until it’s fetishization oh okay what else is new

But she said sorry hun..like sometimes person do feel burn out writing+if she doesn't have anything on her mind to write,she can't do fake promises yo increase hopes.I remember in her book there where some wlw instances. She doesn't hate it,she was just unfortunate with her words

@shipmansfate

literally so gross! and him is problematic as well!!! and that is so highly recommended when it comes to mm books
