Sui Network has officially gone private... Kind of. Sui has officially launched confidential transfers on the $SUI blockchain. However, for now, the privacy-preserving feature is live in public beta on Devnet only. The launch is a direct response to the potentially harmful transparent nature of blockchain transactions. With confidential transfers, parties transacting on Sui will have crucial information like counter-party addresses and amounts remain fully private but with a full audit trail for compliance purposes.
