Another Nile Star on the ground!!! Several passengers sustained injuries Wednesday evening after a Nile Star Bus overturned along the Kampala–Gulu highway in Alengo Village, Diima in Kiryandongo District. Quick recovery to those who were injured. Thank God no fatalities. This is the second Nile Star bus to be involved in a road crash in less than 3 weeks on the same road. Points of reflection; Is it the Buses? Is it about the bus maintenance? Is it driver fatigue? Is it the road? Or it’s the driver’s incompetence? These aren’t accidents but avoidable crashes. Hope Uganda Police Force investigations gives us answers and we avoid repeats, make our roads safe and save lives.

This video from 2019 is making the rounds again with black people saying the bus driver was trying to suicide the whole bus. That’s some cope. 😂 The truth: Matthew Young demanded to be let off at a stop that didn’t exist. When the bus driver refused, Young beat the elderly white driver unconscious causing the bus to crash into a utility pole. Passengers had to subdue young until police arrived. 16 people were taking to the hospital including a 10 year old boy. They are going to spin as much as they can. Don’t buy into any of it.
