In order to address traffic congestion issues for people travelling towards Gulistan e Johar and also an alternate to Natha Khan bridge, KMC is working on an alternate route which I visited along with the KMC engineering team. KMC intends to have the matter approved soon & start work. We are also going to take up work on reconstructing the Pehalwan Goth Road from Safoora towards Habib University which will be a long term solution for the people who are currently facing a lot of difficulties #KarachiWorks

Visited the under construction site of Munawar Chowrangi Underpass. Happy to inform that the construction/structural work has been completed & carpeting of the underpass will be carried out after the Juloos of 12th Muharram. After opening the underpass for traffic in July, sidelines will also be reconstructed. The pipe visible inside the underpass is a gas supply line which is also being relocated #KarachiWorks #HamaraShehar

Visited Soldier Baazaar Naala around the area of Guru Mandir, Patel Para & Jahangir Road. The Naala is taking the rain water well so far. There is some accumulated water on the road leading to MA Jinnah Road & Mazar e Quaid which is being cleared. Will keep everyone posted

KMC has started the annual clearance of its Naalaas in all 7 districts of Karachi. In order to oversee the work, visited the Naala under the PIDC along with MC KMC and the municipal team. Have visited Shahrah e Bhutto twice and also engaged with the PD, consultants and contractor of the project. There is no issue with the structure of Shahrah e Bhutto & the expressway road is being used by more than 12,000 vehicles on a daily basis. Our target is to complete the last leg of the Shahrah, at Kathore by 31st December 2025 #KarachiWorks

The drain of Rashid Minhas Road is working well but some water has now piled up on the side lane going towards Rashid Minhas Road as well as towards Natha Khan. Visited the place & have directed for additional pumping to be placed on site. Our team is present on ground and so is traffic police. All of the Karachi team has worked tremendously hard & I am proud of their efforts for the last 3 days ❤️
