Visited the under construction site of the floating Mangrove Learning Centre near Native Jetty. Hopefully KMC with the guidance of Tariq Alexander Qaiser should be able to have this place functional by November this year inshallah ❤️

Very good initiative indeed. Sir this area requires a continuous replacement of water from sea to make it more attractive as it is closed by land masses from 3 sides. Many countries have implemented such things to avoid the unpleasant smell of stagnant water.

Visited the site of Azeempura intersection where KMC has started construction of a new flyover. Have given 100 working days time to the KMC team to complete this task. Upon completion, people going to the airport from Shahrah e Bhutto & back will have uninterrupted signal free access 🙌 #KarachiWorks #HamaraShehar

Visited the under construction dual carriageway of Memon Goth in Malir. This is an 11.5 KMs long alternate route for people travelling into and out of the city. Work is proceeding at full pace & expected to be completed by October this year. Thank you #SindhGovt for the support #KarachiWorks

KMC has started the annual clearance of its Naalaas in all 7 districts of Karachi. In order to oversee the work, visited the Naala under the PIDC along with MC KMC and the municipal team. Will be visiting different parts of the city over the next couple of weeks to prepare for the upcoming monsoon season

Visited the under construction Chakoor Naala Expressway along with KMC team. Happy to share that work is proceeding on a fast pace on both the expressway as well as the at grade road which will run parallel to the Natha Khana Bridge. Street lighting system is also being installed. If all goes well carpeting of the road will start in the first week of October inshallah #KarachiWorks

President President of Zimbabwe CERTAINLY deserves TWO MORE YEARS… This is not for him to finish projects, BUT TO DO MORE PROJECTS !!!! This👇🏽 is the Mabvuku Interchange under construction & the progress is IMPRESSIVE! Trabablas was a learning curve, am impressed by the SPEED & WORKMANSHIP on the Mabvuku Interchange… the use of Precast Beams should now be NORM, it speeds up construction. By 2030 Zimbabwe’s transport infrastructure will be at another level…

Due to the clogging of main sewerage network, Nazimabad Underpass had gotten severely affected causing major traffic bottleneck. After clearing the sewerage, rehabilitation work through placement of paver blocks has been initiated by KMC & we should be able to have the work completed by tomorrow

In the last 3 years, we have been able to introduce financial and institutional discipline leading to an increase in our revenue from Rs 1.1 Bllion in the year 2023 to Rs 6.5 Billion this year. All assets of KMC are being digitised, employee records have been placed on SAP and development schemes are going to be monitored through 3rd party consultants
