@byadavbjp @eshwar_khandre @iamkondasurekha @rameshpandeyifs @HarithaHaram Great idea! Using a mechanical elephant would ensure Roopavathi's well-being and still add to the celebrations. Smart move!

Today marks a historic milestone in the perpetual ethos of cooperation and unity between the esteemed states of Bharat, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. I am immensely grateful for the gracious gesture of Karnataka Government, in handing over the Kumki elephants to Andhra Pradesh at the prestigious Vidhana Soudha. This is not just an administrative formality, but a testament of cooperative federalism. These trained Kumki elephants play a crucial role in mitigating the loss of human lives and crop damage caused by wild elephant attacks resulting from human-wildlife conflict in Andhra Pradesh. What makes this even more special is the spirit in which it was done. The moment our state raised the proposal, the response from the Karnataka Government was swift, respectful, and above politics. On behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, I extend heartfelt thanks to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Siddaramaiah Garu, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Sri DK Shivakumar Garu, and especially to the Minister for Forest and Environment, Sri Eshwar Khandre Garu, for their unwavering support, cooperation, and key role in facilitating the MoU and ensuring a smooth process. I firmly believe that this strong bond of friendship and collaboration between both states will continue to flourish in the years to come. Yesterday, I have visited the Kumki Elephant Training Camp at Musalamadugu, Palamaneru and was delighted to see the excellent care and training being given to the elephants. With the help of these Kumkis, we have successfully carried out two operations, bringing great relief and happiness to the local communities. We are taking special care of the Kumkis — just as they were lovingly cared for in Karnataka. Our forest teams are continuously monitoring their health, conducting regular check-ups, and providing every necessary care and comfort. This collaboration between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka reflects our shared commitment to wildlife protection and compassionate coexistence. We are deeply thankful to the Government and people of Karnataka for their invaluable support in providing these Kumki elephants to Andhra Pradesh. Our special thanks to Ms. Meenakshi Negi, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & HoFF, and Sri Subhash Malkhede, Chief Wildlife Warden, Karnataka, for their guidance and cooperation in this effort. Special thanks to the people of Dubare and Sakrebyle for their warmth, support, and for wholeheartedly accepting and sending these Kumkis to Andhra Pradesh. These elephants have played a vital role in resolving human–elephant conflicts and ensuring safety for both people and wildlife. My heartfelt thanks to Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Siddaramaiah Garu, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Sri DK Shivakumar Garu, and Hon’ble Forest Minister Sri Eshwar Khandre Garu for their kind cooperation and partnership in this noble effort. - Pawan Kalyan PMO India MoEF&CC CM of Karnataka PIB India I & PR Andhra Pradesh PIB in Andhra Pradesh #KumkiElephants

Lost Kerala Trekker Rescued After Four Days in Kodagu Forests Kodagu, Karnataka Sharanya, a 24 year old #IT professional from #Kerala, was found safe after surviving four harrowing days in the dense forests of the Western Ghats. Sharanya, a native of Nadapuram in #Kozhikode and employed in Kochi, had joined a 10-member trekking group to Tadiyandamol Hill, #Kodagu’s highest peak, on April 2. She became separated from her companions while returning, losing her way in the thick canopy. With her phone battery nearly drained and only a single bottle of water, she relied on her instincts to endure the ordeal. “I knew rescue teams would use drones to search,” she told reporters after her rescue. “So I tried to stay in open clearings where I could be spotted from above.” Her disappearance sparked a massive search operation led by the Karnataka Forest Department, Kodagu District Police, Anti-Naxal Force and local volunteers. Advanced technology, including thermal drones and a dog squad, was deployed to comb the rugged terrain. The breakthrough came when members of the #KudaTribe, renowned for their deep knowledge of the forest’s hidden trails, heard unusual sounds and discovered Sharanya sitting in a clearing. Though exhausted, she remained calm and composed. Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre praised the coordinated efforts of officials and local residents, calling the rescue “a testament to community spirit and resilience.” Sharanya was taken to a nearby medical facility for routine checks. Despite the physical strain of her ordeal, she was seen smiling and expressing heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers and officials who ensured her safe return. This remarkable survival story has not only highlighted the dangers of trekking in dense forests but also underscored the critical role of local communities and modern technology in rescue operations. “Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad” is absolutely befitting for Shri Revanth Reddy (Revanth Reddy), who is consumed by the arrogance of dictatorial authority and stubbornly refusing to address the genuine demands of the unemployed youth. His blatant disregard for their struggles only deepens their anger, and he will inevitably face the consequences of his authoritarian attitude. The Telangana government under Telangana CMO has clearly lost its way, resorting to arresting youngsters who are simply demanding the withdrawal of the unjust, malicious and illegal GO 29, that any sensible court is likely to strike down. As the GO 29 is already challenged and ultimately would be overturned by the High Court or Supreme Court, why conduct a test at all, especially one whose outcome depends on a final court verdict? What is wrong to reschedule the exam till the court gives its final verdict? The rigidity of Revanth Reddy is creating unrest among the unemployed youth, who aspire to become state administrative officers, but instead are being arrested by the police. Is there an undeclared emergency in Telangana where the youth cannot protest for their legitimate demands? Is there a separate constitution governing Telangana? Why this dictatorial suppression? Revanth Reddy may be escaping accountability for his stubborness, but why are other cabinet colleagues endorsing his erratic decisions and acting as mute spectators to the police brutality? Please rescue them from this gross injustice. TGPSC Aspirants Governor of Telangana BRS Party KCR KTR Harish Rao Thanneeru

Now, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has shamelessly admitted that he will give Rs. 1,000 crore from Telangana to the Sonia-Rahul family. Why is Revanth Reddy so worried about the economic condition of the Gandhi family instead of his own state where the 6 guarantees and 420 promises have not seen the light of the day? The truth is because for the past two years, Telangana’s RR Tax has become an ATM for the Congress party. After the BRS went on a borrowing spree pushing the state into a deficit, the Congress has now ensured that the Telangana Debt burden reaches Rs. 10 Lakh crores and still have not managed to show anything of worth that has been built in the state. The CM himself confessed publicly in a TV interview that Telangana doesn't have money to invest even Rs. 500 crores every month for Capital expenditure projects. Then how does he have 1,000 crores for the Sonia-Rahul Family? The RR Tax can be seen in several projects that the Congress government is executing in Telangana including in the demolishing of houses of the poor in the name of HYDRAA, taking away the land of tribals in Lagacharla in the name of industry, trying to forcibly seize the land of University of Hyderabad and Maulana Azaad universities, and taking away the land of industries in the name of HILT policy. All they are doing is looting Telangana like gangsters and keeping it for themselves. The Telangana Congress regularly travels to Delhi carrying gunny bags of RR Tax collections to protect their own positions.
