The owner wrote: I have to be honest, the ID.7 sometimes drives me absolutely crazy. If these quirks don’t improve within the next two years, that’s it for me—I’ll definitely look for something else. But before it sounds too negative: the car has its strengths! It’s super comfortable, quiet, fun to drive, looks stylish, and is really well-equipped. So far, so good—until you press the start button and the software kicks in. The controls? An absolute disaster. It feels like VW held a contest: “How can we make our system as annoying as possible?” The window controls with their “Rear” function? Speechless. Seriously, why?! Or the seat recognition: every single time you step out briefly to grab something from the trunk or whatever, you have to re-enter everything. It’s as if there’s a nitpicky bureaucrat sitting in the car, telling you over and over: “Rules are rules—you left the seat, now go back to the start of the line.” And then there’s the climate control. When it’s hot or cold, you’d expect the car to adjust the temperature quickly. But no, someone at VW apparently decided that invisible walls divide the car. Only the areas where someone is sitting get ventilated. Great idea—except invisible walls don’t exist, and air unfortunately circulates around the car, especially when you’re cornering. In summary: the ID.7 is like a beautiful partner, but they’re absolutely infuriating. Here’s a video example of what I mean. Sometimes it’s quicker, sometimes slower. You never know for sure… But in the end, I’d estimate I type this out at least 8 times a day, which adds up to about 5 minutes of unnecessary, mindless fiddling.

Keiner. Worin VW aber NOCH sehr stark ist, das sind die Firmenleasings. Dienstfahrzeuge lassen sich schwerer ablehnen.

Interessant. Ich hab' den Pro S Variant gerade zum Test. Keine Probleme (nur, dass die VW-Testautoabteilung mich nicht als Hauptnutzer einrichten mag).

Ganz ehrlich: deutsche Autotester bekleckert sich nicht mit Ruhm bei deutschen Marken. Kritische Aspekte von Usability und UserInterface werden überall schön geredet. Nirgends findet man ehrliche Vergleiche zu fehlenden Frunks oder zu kleinen Kofferräumen. Besonders die fehlenden - ehrlichen - Vergleiche zu den Tricksereien deutscher EV Modelle beim Verbrauch vermisse ich. Mercedes, BMW und VW zwingen die Nutzer förmlich in den ECO Modus wenn sie effizient fahren wollen. In Testberichten werden dann häufig diese Optimalverbräuche angegeben. Dass man dann - wie bei Mercedes - im Entenmodus unterwegs ist und gefühlt mehrere 100 PS fehlen, wird in keinem Bericht erwähnt. Hier fehlt es eindeutig die kritische Betrachtung seitens der Autopresse. Es kann nicht sein, dass das Netz überquillt mit katastrophalen Bewertung und Erlebnisberichten, aber kein Magazin davon etwas bei ihren Testfahrten merkt. Die Vermutung bleibt: hier wird viel Geld in Werbeanzeigen gesteckt, was zu geschönten Analysen führt.

so ganz ganz langsam kommt man drauf, dass die Antriebstechnik nicht der (einzige) Grund ist, dass deutsche Autos niemand mehr kauft. Das Video hat gewissen Hinweise 😅 #Neuland

Die Antriebstechnik ist OK, wobei sie von VW viel zu teuer angeboten wird. Einen besser motorisieren Tesla mit besserer Ausstattung bekomme ich für 15.000 EUR weniger
