Also most of the time it's a gathering of a set of people who attended same private secondary school or university, and when they get there they start this stupid classism/discrimination against people who didn't go to the same school as them. Then you wonder why u were invited.

This is not entirely true, When I lost my job in 2023, it was these communities i had joined a years before that gave me gigs and sustained me till I got another job a year after and these gigs are still coming through these amazing persons from those communities and hangouts.
