If you go out to pickup food at a drive through like McDonald’s or any other fast food location, is it appropriate to have to tip the person who hands you your food? Tipping is usually appropriate at a sit down restaurant where a server waits on you. I’ve even seen people tip at coffee shops for the baristas making your custom coffee orders. But to tip at a fast food window seems inappropriate, the workers aren’t making server wages.
