Agents: Quick thoughts & questions on how they operate, their potential, and their limitations A Few Observations - ▶️"Book me a hotel" or "pull historical financials" are already (mostly) solved problems!! Agents can do a ton of tasks right now—like parsing public company press releases and navigating capture key info & complete bookings accurately. However, for more complex navigation flows, the tech still needs some work - but I'm very confident it’s essentially a solved or solvable challenge. ▶️Accuracy & Speed - The key metrics and agents should optimize for. ▶️Lower Build & Migration Costs It took me two minutes to build a new website (link: This is great for consumers—more choices, lower switching costs. Companies will increasingly compete on the quality of their products and services. ▶️Agents vs. Automation tools: The more I think about it, the more I realize that most “agents” are really just automation tools—kind of like how most robots🤖 are just machines lol ❓A Few Key Questions—Would Love Your Thoughts! ❔Remote Servers & Logins In many cases, we’ll want agents to act on our behalf (e.g., log in to to cancel an order). How will platforms like respond? Many websites may block remote servers for security. Is there a technical workaround? ❔Agent Generalization Do we need to train agents on each environment separately, or can one solution handle multiple sites and systems? This seems similar to RL/post-training challenges in AI research. Example: It's unclear to me whether $Devin was specifically trained on environment? ❔Frontend vs. Backend infra for agents to run on I had doubts about Anthropic's "Computer Use" feature, which seemed to run on the frontend, basically remotely controlling my computer so I couldn’t use it at the same time. This should deliver the highest accuracy, but it’s questionable how practical it really is. (Ref: It seems def possible for agents to work quietly “in the background” (like Devin) rather than remotely controlling a user’s PC, but how much accuracy are we sacrificing? A few $Devin test cases that got me thinking: 1⃣Pulling $META's MAU and DAU (1Q21–3Q24) into Excel (video attached) Took Devin 11min - it sent me back an Excel with 100% accurate data. This case was pretty tricky because $Meta changed disclosures and stopped reporting MAU/DAU after 4Q23. Devin didn’t hallucinate data for post-4Q23—it simply didn’t provide it! It really shocked me to see $Devin navigating $Meta's investor relations site (I didn't tell it to find the numbers there), opening each quarterly earnings report, and extracting MAU/DAU like a diligent intern. -> This confirms $Devin (and similar agents) can already accurately “read” screens. 2⃣Booking Hotel (video attached) Devin took 5 minutes to book the InterContinental NYC on after asking for my credentials. From $Devin's workspace, I could see it filling in the correct fields and making the right selections—fast and accurate overall. Interestingly, $Devin didn’t supply all the required information on the first attempt and got some error messages, then retried until it succeeded. It’s unclear whether Devin had been specifically trained on interface or simply learned to adapt on the fly. 3⃣Canceling the Booking This part was even more interesting. While booking didn’t require me to log in, canceling did—so $Devin had to access my (likely via a remote server) account using my Gmail credentials. It successfully canceled the reservation. I wonder how websites will handle future “remote” logins. Notably, Google blocked $Devin’s direct attempts to log in to Gmail when I specifically requested it. 4⃣Booking from Official Hotel Sites I asked Devin to book InterContinental NYC and Four Seasons Boston via their official websites. It made progress but encountered technical hiccups when trying to select the check-in/check-out dates. Insights from Scott Wu on Invest Like the Best: 1/ Self-Driving Cars as the First “Real Agents” Driving requires near-perfect accuracy (99.999%), making it much more demanding than digital or coding agents, which can tolerate more errors. Scott compares $Devin to circa 2014—already good enough to save 90% of your effort, but still short of flawless. 2/ Impact on Collaboration Platforms Tools like Slack and GitLab are likely to see major changes as agents begin to interact with and utilize them along with humans. 2025 should be all about agents - both the disruptors and those they disrupt!

🚨BREAKING: In New York, an ICE agent was caught on video walking across the street and pepper spraying a woman directly in the face… for film them. In the video, a woman is standing, with several other civilians, on the opposite side of the street. They aren’t blocking traffic, or interfering with an arrest. In fact, you can’t even see an arrest taking place. They’re simply standing there, filming ICE agents from a public place. Then, the ICE agent deliberately walks across the street, approaches the woman, raises his pepper spray canister just inches from her face, and sprays her directly in the eyes. People standing around her are seen running away to avoid getting sprayed, too Only AFTER spraying her do you hear the agent say, “Back up.” And then they turn around, like they didn’t just assault U.S. citizens with a chemical weapon, and walk away. This should piss off every American. The First Amendment protects your right to record law enforcement in public. Pepper spraying someone for peacefully recording… is retaliation. The Fourth Amendment also protects people from excessive force. Under the Constitution, officers can’t use force that isn’t objectively reasonable under the circumstances. If someone is standing on the other side of the street, posing no immediate threat, not resisting, and not interfering… it’s difficult to justify blasting them in the face with a chemical weapon. And even ICE’s own use-of-force standards require force to be reasonable, necessary, and proportional to the threat presented. Nothing in this video suggests that standard was met. This is exactly why people should be concerned about masked federal agents operating with little transparency, or accountability… If agents can walk up to U.S. citizens and assault them with a chemical weapon for recording… that means your constitutional rights exist at the discretion of whoever is holding the pepper spray. And that’s not how a constitutional republic is supposed to work.

🚨BREAKING: In New York, an ICE agent was caught on video walking across the street and pepper spraying a woman directly in the face… for film them. In the video, a woman is standing, with several other civilians, on the opposite side of the street. They aren’t blocking traffic, or interfering with an arrest. In fact, you can’t even see an arrest taking place. They’re simply standing there, filming ICE agents from a public place. Then, the ICE agent deliberately walks across the street, approaches the woman, raises his pepper spray canister just inches from her face, and sprays her directly in the eyes. People standing around her are seen running away to avoid getting sprayed, too Only AFTER spraying her do you hear the agent say, “Back up.” And then they turn around, like they didn’t just assault U.S. citizens with a chemical weapon, and walk away. This should piss off every American. The First Amendment protects your right to record law enforcement in public. Pepper spraying someone for peacefully recording… is retaliation. The Fourth Amendment also protects people from excessive force. Under the Constitution, officers can’t use force that isn’t objectively reasonable under the circumstances. If someone is standing on the other side of the street, posing no immediate threat, not resisting, and not interfering… it’s difficult to justify blasting them in the face with a chemical weapon. And even ICE’s own use-of-force standards require force to be reasonable, necessary, and proportional to the threat presented. Nothing in this video suggests that standard was met. This is exactly why people should be concerned about masked federal agents operating with little transparency, or accountability… If agents can walk up to U.S. citizens and assault them with a chemical weapon for recording… that means your constitutional rights exist at the discretion of whoever is holding the pepper spray. And that’s not how a constitutional republic is supposed to work.

Even $ETH ICO buyers/gigawhales talked about how bullish they are on it. The question is no longer whether $BTC will survive but rather how much exposure you should have. Every: - Bridges to move assets, - oracles to fetch data, - indexers to make that data searchable, - relayers and bots to keep everything on schedule— is necessary, but each layer also adds cost, latency, and new risks. The end result is an application that’s expensive to run, fragile under stress, and slower than the Web2 software it’s trying to replace. This is the problem Rialo says it wants to solve. Built by Subzero Labs and backed by $20 million from investors like Pantera Capital and Coinbase Ventures 🛡️, Rialo’s pitch is simple: instead of accepting the middleware tower as an unavoidable cost of doing business, compress it into the base chain itself. But Rialo doesn’t describe itself as another Layer 1, its very name, Rialo Isn’t a Layer One, makes that clear. The team frames it instead as a unified real-world network: a protocol rebuilt from the ground up with the assumption that external connectivity is not an afterthought but a core design principle. To understand what this means, consider how today’s dApps are typically assembled. A typical RWA dApp stack involves: - Oracle providers (Chainlink, Pyth, Band) for asset pricing and event settlement - Bridges (Wormhole, Multichain, custodians) for cross-chain asset movement - Indexers (The Graph, Aleph, Stacks API) for querying and preprocessing chain data - Schedulers/relayers for automated tasks and monitoring - Web2 integrations via cloud services, centralized APIs, and off-chain pipelines Each of these steps adds another vendor, another trust boundary, and another operational layer to monitor. By the time the application is live, it resembles a patchwork of loosely coupled services, each carrying its own risks. That risks reducing the decentralization blockchains depend on for resilience. - Governance pressures: Disputes or failures involving real-world data feeds, external APIs, or cross-chain actions will arise more often, requiring not just technical fixes but robust social infrastructure, clear rules for voting, transparent arbitration, and mechanisms for community trust. Without them, Rialo risks re-centralizing decision-making around a handful of operators. Where, then, does this model make the most sense? That would be in sectors where external connectivity is indispensable and middleware bloat has consistently been a blocker: - Real-world assets: settling tokenized securities or commodities against off-chain events. - Supply chains: triggering a payment the moment a shipment clears customs, without relying on a third-party oracle. - Agent systems: AI agents interacting with real-world APIs and on-chain contracts simultaneously. - Real-time markets: prediction markets or insurance contracts that must resolve immediately against external data. For purely on-chain domains like DeFi primitives or NFTs, where composability matters more than external triggers, the advantages may be less pronounced. This shift is familiar to anyone who remembers the rise of Web2 platform services. Just as Heroku and Firebase abstracted away server maintenance so developers could focus on building products, Rialo is betting that a unified real-world network can let blockchain developers do the same. Adoption will ultimately depend on: - whether its protocol primitives mature quickly, - whether the ecosystem builds out SDKs and tooling that make them usable, - whether compliance features can adapt to changing regulations, - and whether governance proves resilient under adversarial conditions. The first applications will be the test case. If they show that Rialo can replace a fragile patchwork of middleware with a secure, auditable, and cost-effective base layer, it could set a new standard for real-world connectivity in blockchains. The strait is now officially back under STRICT control of Iran. It means that OIL will spike again very soon. 20% of the world’s oil flows through Hormuz. If the strait stays closed “until victory,” We will see a return to wartime peak prices. This is around $100-$110 per barrel. JUST IMAGINE: $110.
