Was the officer in the right or wrong here?

I usually side with law enforcement but that seemed very trigger-happy.

1. the driver could have been deaf. 2. could be a kid that does not know how to drive a car. 3. the car could be malfunctioning

Excessive in my opinion. He unloads several rounds into the car, probably striking the guy. Then suffering injury incapable of holding the break down the cop then unloads even more. Excessive. But, we don’t know what happened before this either.

Don’t know what happened before the camera was rolling, but if a cop has you stopped and at gunpoint, you should probably just follow directions and freeze until directions are given.

I'm usually on the side of the police, but here not so much. He was clearly backing out slowly and trying to avoid the police. The police officer forced a situation that could have EASILY been avoided. He's not using lethal force as a "last resort".

You don’t have to wait until they hit you to shoot them, not do you need to read their mind and know they’re not going to hit you. When a cop has you at gun point and you don’t surrender, you’ve kind of chosen your own fate.

Impossible to say without full context… Maybe he was minding his own business and the cop murdered him in cold blood. Or… Maybe he was an armed felon with a history of violent crime and attempted to run down the cop just prior to the video starting. My point is, there is not enough information in this short video.

I guess we probably need to see all the footage before hand before we draw conclusions.

He left with a huge evidence (The bike)

A coward
