@cricket_broken What surprises me the most in this whole episode is that the square leg umpire called it a fair delivery. None of us even thought that is a possibility until the technology explained it.

What if the batsmen stands out at mid pitch and complains every full ball as above waist..? crease is there for reference.. there should be equal chances to the bowlers too to bowl against batsmen standing out of crease.

The point for a no ball should be the top of the stumps as it never moves and can determined more easily. A batter waist has too many variables.

That's exactly what i mentioned , spinners can bowl with such trajectory. These rules need to be explained properly , there is a Grey area in these rules . I think they are waiting for another World Cup Final to change the rules🙂
