Some parents was criticizing this teacher in Texas for throwing his students a pizza party. He gives all of his students a slice of pizza and a drink for free. However if they want more, he charges them $2 a slice and $1 a drink. At the end of the day, everyone in his class was able to enjoy a free piece of pizza and a drink. He bought extra to sell to make his money back and that’s where some parents had an issue. Do you feel he was trying to scam his students or was he just doing the best he can because many teachers don’t make allot?

This teacher says to his students that he will never remember what grade you got when you leave his class. But, he said he will remember the kindness that certain students showed to other students. He gives two examples of children that were alone or loners and two students taking the time to go out of their way to sit & talk with them to help make them feel like they weren't alone. I wish all teachers cared this much. Our system gets so caught up in the smartest students, the best athletes, the most popular kids and they seem to garner the most attention and favoritism. It's the quiet students, the loners, the awkward ones, the ones who don’t have friends that need attention and help in my opinion. Well done sir. Bravo. 👏 I wish more teachers had your mindset. As parents of Jewish children who were born in the U.K, we often think about which education system will be right for our family. For months, I interviewed and talked to students, teachers, headteachers, and parents. What I learned frightened me. Like many Jews, Jack's parents wanted him to go to a non-Jewish secondary school and assimilate with the general British public. "We didn't want to feel like we were in a ghetto", his mum told me. When classmates found out Jack was Jewish, the jokes began. Allegedly harmless at first. They mocked the Holocaust. They told him, "Hitler's coming for you." He tried to ignore it. They kept going. Jack's parents contacted the school. Nothing was done. Eventually, Jack had had enough and confronted the boys himself. He was the one suspended. That same day, he told his parents he couldn't go back. Jack transferred to a Jewish school. He is thriving. Since I assumed the position of Minister of Education, I have received numerous messages and letters from Part-time ND and HND students and those who have transitioned to full-time courses about their exemption from National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). As I told the students at Yaba Tech today, the Federal Ministry of Education and our agencies stand with you. The Presidency stands with you as well. You should not be exempted from participating in NYSC. I will be meeting with the Director-General of the NYSC in March to discuss this matter further. A solution is on the way.

As I told the students at Yaba Tech today, the Federal Ministry of Education and our agencies stand with you. The Presidency stands with you as well. You should not be exempted from participating in NYSC. I will be meeting with the Director-General of the NYSC in March to discuss this matter further. A solution is on the way.
