The Department of Transportation led by Pete Buttigieg is being mocked for the massive failure. For comparison, a Tesla Supercharger costs less than $50,000 per charger meaning the company could build a 10-stall Supercharger station for less than $500,000 (Electrek). The EV charging station plan was written in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and allocated $7.5B for EV charging, with $5B dedicated to building a charging network along US highways. According to the WMO, 80% of UK stations have errors of 2-5C, yet Met Office data reports temperatures to a hundredth of a degree. This isn't science. It's manufactured data built to serve a narrative.

These are infrared, scanning devices for some reason the fire department didn’t bother, scanning the area. Just about every fire engine in Los Angeles has one on board if they had just spent 30 minutes scanning the Lachman fire on Jan 1 for hot spots they could’ve saved 12 lives and billions of dollars worth of damage. #PalisadesFire
