What are the Pip and universal credit changes and who is affected? #bbcqt

Low-income Americans who voted for Trump say they are counting on him to keep their benefits intact even while his Cabinet picks and Republican lawmakers call on him to reduce federal spending.

Who will employ them though? @UKLabour have made it far too expensive and for too risky to employ people from this area with their NI hikes and new employment rights. Left hand Vs right hand!!

Support them then & support and educate employers to enable them to provide all the reasonable adjustments they’ll need to keep them in work once you get them taken on! But you don’t need to cut their money to do that!

Will Employers be mandated to support those in work with reasonable adjustments? Currently there is lack of understanding or will?

People repeat anecdotes, they don’t really know how the welfare system works, they regurgitate what they have heard politicians claim about it. Forcing people by withholding money will force many into crime. #bbcqt

Maybe the system is broken because we have an unsustainable 1.2 Million immigrants on #Benefits? But, as usual, it will be the sick & disabled British taxpayers who will be hammered.

Yet nobody addresses the billions spent on illegals and the cost of their presence to society. Rising crime is not cheap.

Lady is spot on..40.years I've voted labour..I.help with pip claims.. 4 pts not achievable..cancelled membership..if they don't take it out..never voting labour again
