We continue our marathon toward the first Global Peace Summit, which can and must demonstrate the true value of international cooperation, as well as all of the words about defending the UN Charter and the international rules-based order spoken during the years of this war. Every leader who will... attend the Summit, every leader who assists in its organization, and every state whose strength we are now adding to the collective strength of protecting human life are all contributing to the marathon of Peace Summit preparations. Today I spoke with the leaders of Spain, Belgium, Latvia, Finland, and Cabo Verde. Step by step, we are bringing together a truly global community, with every continent represented at the Summit, as well as various nations, both geographically large and smaller ones, those who have already spoken out in support of international law and those who will in the future. While those in Moscow hypocritically use the notion of “multipolarity” as a guise for their efforts to control the lives of other nations, we are creating a real instrument of true multipolarity and inviting the global majority to the Peace Summit. There is your Peace Formula, and then there is the reality on the ground, in the air, and at sea! ..If Russia isn't going to be attending the Summit in Switzerland, then "you're just barking up the wrong tree" ..you're not truly taking the right road forward. President Zelenskyy, you need to say HELL NO TO NATO EXPANSIONISM! ..and find the middle-ground compromise both Ukraine and Russia can live with. Why risk losing anymore of your cities and great people of Ukraine?? It's not worth it. Seek peace, and Go for a ceasefire immediately! Best.

We can already see that the inaugural Peace Summit will be truly global. Leaders from all continents will attend. Many nations that value normal and peaceful coexistence will be present. I am grateful to all the states, leaders, and peace ambassadors who are assisting us in preparing for the summit. We will use the remaining weeks before the event to work with dozens of other leaders and countries that we hope to see at the summit. Despite the brutality of Russian pressure and the heinousness of Russian terror, the world must demonstrate that the combined strength of everyone who values life is sufficient to protect it. Such an outcome is critical for every nation because if this rule works in Ukraine, it will work everywhere.

Our goal is to ensure it is truly impactful. More than 100 countries and international organizations joined us at the first Peace Summit. Every principle of peace that we presented is fully grounded in the UN Charter and key international documents. Back in June, when over 100 participants gathered to support peace for Ukraine and uphold the full effectiveness of the UN Charter, it truly felt like all states were equal at the table. Today, we welcome two new signatories to the Peace Summit communique, increasing representation from the Americas, particularly Latin America. Officially joining us are the Organization of American States, which unites countries from both North and South America, and the island nation of Antigua and Barbuda. We view the entire world as equals, and this is our ideological difference from Russia in international relations. We respect every nation and value every voice in global cooperation. This is how the UN Charter is built – so that all countries matter. Putin, however, wants only his voice to matter, or those he chooses. This is a typically colonial worldview that we, together with all our partners, must break. The format of the Peace Summit, our communique, and the preparation for the Second Summit will ensure fair treatment for every nation, including, of course, Ukraine. I thank all who support us. We must restore true energy security in all its aspects and overcome Russia’s use of energy and resources as weapons. This also applies to protection against Russian energy terror. We are working tirelessly to strengthen Ukraine's relations with partners, receive more tangible support, and ensure true equality in the protection from terror. So that when we face the same terror and strikes with missiles and drones, the rules are equal in Ukraine, Europe, and other parts of the world. We have heard a lot over the last two days. We have heard about different conflicts in Europe and the Middle East, different levels of threat, and different airspace. Despite the fact that "Shahed" drones and ballistic missiles are the same. We have also heard about different threats of escalation. But are human lives any different? Is human dignity different? No. We value every human life equally. We must all value it equally. And we must equally protect lives from terror. Ukraine will request an Ukraine-NATO Council meeting focused on the protection of skies and the supplies of air defense systems and missiles. We are also actively working to ensure that the first Global Peace Summit in June yields results. I am grateful to all of the leaders and states who have expressed their willingness to attend it over the last week. I would also like to specifically thank German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for his leadership in this matter and relevant international communication, as well as for the signals we have heard from Beijing. China can truly contribute to the restoration of just peace in Ukraine as well as international stability. The Summit in Switzerland presents a real opportunity for all of us to ensure that the UN Charter, its purposes, and principles begin to work in practice.

We are currently preparing for the second Peace Summit, moving forward step by step with our partners according to the Peace Formula. We continue to counter Russia’s attempts to weaken the Peace Summit, which will take place in two weeks. Russia can no longer thwart the summit, although it works hard to achieve such a goal. Russia puts pressure on leaders and openly threatens various countries with destabilization. This is one of the consequences of the world giving the terrorist state too much time. Unfortunately, evil knows how to adapt and is now using all its resources to divide the world and prevent the world from forcing Russia to make peace. Despite these efforts, nearly 100 states and international organizations are already participating in the global effort. Today, I had a long meeting with all our officials involved in the organization of the summit to direct their work on ensuring its success. I thank everyone around the world who is currently making calls and holding negotiations to ensure that this global format serves as an example of how different nations working together can restore the effectiveness of the UN Charter and force the aggressor to make peace.

Every leader and country that wishes to see Russian aggression end in a truly just peace has the opportunity to join our global efforts and attend the first Peace Summit, which will be held in Switzerland in June. We are preparing for the Summit and its concrete outcomes, such as a clear global stance on a just end to this war. Peace has no alternative. However, in order for this to happen and for the Russian terror to be defeated, all forms of our strength must be guaranteed. To protect ourselves from terror, we require physical strength. This includes air defense, frontline capabilities, the ability to achieve the necessary results in the Black Sea, our own domestic arms manufacturing, Ukraine's economic resilience, partner pressure on Russia, and maximum global consolidation. We do not have the right to fail in any of these aspects.

Today was a long day, with many events, and a lot of news. Long discussions... The Peace Formula, security issues, our joint capabilities to protect the principles and goals of the UN Charter, to protect nations from aggression. I called on the leaders and states of Africa to participate in the Global Peace Summit we are preparing. Ukraine will be heard all over the world, and we will involve the whole world in the implementation of the Peace Formula.

Today, I addressed the Peace Formula meeting in Malta, which gathered 66 countries from around the world, both from the West and the Global South. In total, almost 70 global actors have already joined the Peace Formula process. The aspiration for peace is stipulated in international law and the UN Charter. But does the UN Charter work? Here in Ukraine, in the Middle East, and in African countries, the answer to this question is the cries of mothers burying their sons and daughters killed in wars, as well as the despair of children orphaned by wars. We can and must give a different answer. I proposed the Peace Formula last year. Its 10 points cover all aspects of Russia's aggression against Ukraine and are based on the principles of the UN Charter and UNGA resolutions. Over the year, the Formula has gradually become global, with more and more countries and international organizations joining efforts to implement it. The result of these collective actions can be the restoration of the territorial integrity of our state and the full force of international law, thus ensuring a reliable and just peace.

Tomorrow in Jeddah – in Saudi Arabia – a meeting of advisors to heads of state and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Peace Formula will begin. Many countries will be represented, different continents, including the countries of the Global South. It is very important because in such matters as food security, the fate of millions of people in Africa, Asia, and other parts of the world directly depends on how fast the world will be in implementing the Peace Formula. I am grateful to Saudi Arabia for this platform for negotiations. Recently, a meeting in the same format was held in Copenhagen. We are moving step by step towards the Global Peace Summit. It is very important that the world sees: a fair and honest end to Russian aggression will benefit everyone in the world. Everyone! Liberating Ukrainian land from the occupiers means restoring full respect for international law and the UN Charter. Eliminating all threats created by Russia to Ukrainian and global security means returning peace to international relations and stability to global life. I am grateful to all those who support the Peace Formula and have already joined the joint efforts for the full implementation of the Formula.

And that is why we are working to involve as many countries as possible in the Peace Summit in Switzerland, as well as relevant communication. We must all recognize that Putin will attempt to thwart this effort and weaken Ukrainian positions through various manipulations and the power of his terrorist strikes. All of our positions must now be equally strong, whether on the battlefield, in diplomacy, or in the information sphere. For us to apply pressure and get closer to our goals, the occupiers must lose their ability to exert pressure and accomplish anything for themselves. Our strength, capabilities, weapons, and unity with partners must all work together. And they will.
