Today, I signed a decree introducing a sanctions package against Russian and other individuals and entities supporting Russia’s military system. These include developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of drones for the occupiers, individuals assisting in importing critical components into Russia, as well as those training drone operators. In total, more than a hundred entities and individuals. We are actively working with our partners to synchronize these sanctions with their respective measures. It is crucial that all our partners continue to intensify sanctions pressure on Russia. Without foreign components and without schemes to bypass sanctions, Russia cannot sustain its terror campaign. Every “Shahed” drone and every Russian missile contains dozens of foreign components. That is why it is essential for our sanctions pressure to work hand in hand with the global effort.

I am grateful to Canada for its new package of sanctions against more than 160 entities linked to Russia’s shadow fleet. Today, during our meeting with Mark Carney, we discussed strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia. And it is important that such decisions are being made. We also discussed formats of defense cooperation, Canada’s participation in financing the production of Ukrainian drones under the Danish model, and cooperation in the energy sector. Importantly, Canada will continue to provide Ukraine with energy support and assistance in recovery. I thank Mark for his strong position during the G7–Ukraine meeting and for all the support for our people. We truly have strong allies and the Prime Minister’s significant personal engagement in supporting Ukraine. And this is highly valuable.

This is a difficult task, but our warriors are completing it step by step. Everyone sees it. I would also like to express my gratitude to all units of our Defense Forces that reduce Russia's war potential. The less money Putin's system can make, the stronger the sanctions against it, the sooner Ukraine, our Europe, and the rest of the world will feel safe.

We have a series of measures in place and will be intensifying our work with partners. I accepted the letters of credence from the newly appointed ambassadors of Bulgaria, Estonia, India, and Germany and congratulated them on the start of their missions in Ukraine. ZELENSKYY: Russia won't stop the war simply because someone asks it to. World's strongest leaders have already told Russia that this war must end. However, Putin wants to keep fighting. That is why Putin must face conditions that make it impossible for him to continue this war. We are creating those conditions through our long-range strikes on Russian military and oil facilities. Our medium-range sanctions are also having an effect. They make it harder for Russia to occupy our territory and our lives. And we are doing everything we can to make the occupation unbearable for the occupier. I'm grateful to Lindsey for recognizing our warriors. The stronger Ukraine is on the battlefield, the greater the chances that diplomacy will ultimately succeed. And right now, it is important that our long-range sanctions pressure on Russia be reinforced through new sanctions steps by our partners. Lindsey briefed me on the work underway in Congress on the relevant bill. We also discussed our urgent air defense needs to protect our people. During the NATO Summit in Ankara, President Trump and I reached political agreements on licensing the production of Patriots in Ukraine. It is now crucial to implement all of this at the team level. I thank everyone who is preserving and creating jobs in the region, everyone who is working for Ukraine and for the benefit of Ukraine. We will continue all government programs that have proven effective and that support our production and our economy. There is still more we can do to support our industry — I’ve instructed government officials to fulfill what the entrepreneurs have asked for today. Ukraine’s results are shared results — the achievements of all those who have chosen Ukraine, who are actively working for Ukraine, and who are ready to do whatever is necessary for our country to endure and achieve its goals. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine.
