In total, 42 countries are represented there. Different continents, different political approaches to global affairs, but everyone is united by the priority of international law. Many countries will be represented, different continents, including the countries of the Global South. It is very important because in such matters as food security, the fate of millions of people in Africa, Asia, and other parts of the world directly depends on how fast the world will be in implementing the Peace Formula. Today in Kharkiv, another Russian precision-guided aerial bomb struck a civilian postal terminal. Currently, we know of ten injured. Sadly, one person was killed. Such Russian bombs remain Putin’s key capability to wage war. The sooner the world helps us neutralize Russia’s combat aviation launching these bombs and the sooner we can strike back with justified strikes against Russian military infrastructure and airfields, the closer peace will be. The world possesses enough strength to force Russia to make peace. While defending the Kharkiv region from Russian advances, we have shown that the resolve of partners truly makes a difference. Strikes on Russian border areas have helped our efforts to save lives. Similarly, further bold decisions will help, the ones that are necessary and the ones we are discussing with partners. We will continue this communication in the coming weeks in order to secure necessary decisions. Equally crucial, in the weeks following the Peace Summit, we have maintained constant dialogue with partners to support the summit’s communiqué. Today, I addressed the Peace Formula meeting in Malta, which gathered 66 countries from around the world, both from the West and the Global South. In total, almost 70 global actors have already joined the Peace Formula process. The aspiration for peace is stipulated in international law and the UN Charter. But does the UN Charter work? Here in Ukraine, in the Middle East, and in African countries, the answer to this question is the cries of mothers burying their sons and daughters killed in wars, as well as the despair of children orphaned by wars. We can and must give a different answer. I proposed the Peace Formula last year. Its 10 points cover all aspects of Russia's aggression against Ukraine and are based on the principles of the UN Charter and UNGA resolutions. Over the year, the Formula has gradually become global, with more and more countries and international organizations joining efforts to implement it. Today, Ukrainian representatives will continue their discussions in the United States with President Trump’s team. Our task now is to obtain full information about what was said in Moscow and what other pretexts Putin has come up with to drag out the war and to pressure Ukraine. Ukraine is prepared for any possible developments, and of course we will work as constructively as possible with all partners to ensure that peace is achieved – and that it is, after all, a dignified peace. Only a dignified peace provides real security, and we fully understand that this requires – and will continue to require – the support of our partners.
