We have an electricity availability problem. Data centers should be developed constructively to help solve rising prices, not worsen them. But everyone needs to stop singling out data centers to be punished for price increases caused by anti-fossil-fuel policies.

Data centers, like everything good, require a lot of energy. Stop blaming them for rising electricity prices, which were caused by anti-fossil-fuel policies that artificially restricted our reliable electricity supply. My appearance tonight on FOX Business with Brian Brenberg

Secretary of Energy Chris Wright says data centers are “The biggest force we have right now to stop the rise of electricity prices and ultimately to drive them down” - American have been seeing increases of 27-42% on their electric bills - 267% electric bill increases have been reported right next to data centers in places like Baltimore and Northern Virginia Also I looked into how data centers can lower prices and really it comes down to them using so much power they build more energy sources So this doesn’t sound good…

I love President Trump but I’m not with him on the data centers. The opposition to data centers seems real and organic. The need to shove data centers down the throats of communities who don’t want them seems to be manufactured.

We have a real problem with these so called "experimental data centers" They will drive up your electric bills, jeopardize our water supply, and are so loud you will hear them 24/7. I want to be clear. I am not going to regulate data centers, I am not going to reform data centers; as Florida Governor, I will reject and remove every data center in our state.

That includes data centers. Instead, they have to make space for them somewhere within their zoning. And for those townships trying to argue, they're out of space in industrial zones, now they have to rezone areas originally set aside for residential or even agricultural development.”
