In 1965, 50% of Catholic children in America went to Catholic schools. Today it is less than 10% and we close nearly 100 Catholic schools every year. But over the past decade there has been a rebirth of Catholic education. New Catholic schools are launching, and these schools have chucked the public school textbooks and assessments and are digging deep into the Catholic intellectual tradition and drawing students into the love of Christ through the Sacramental life of the Church. The future is bright.

We have set up a makeshift school for the children of Gaza who have missed over a year’s worth of school. Thousands of children have been robbed of their education Since the war broke out most of the schools like many other major infrastructure have been destroyed and completely flattened. We are pleased to be able to provide an opportunity for the pupils to attend their classes with a glimmer of hope to see their schools being built again.

Parents are pulling their kids out of public schools, that’s a red flag. We have some of the highest levels of education funding, but our children still aren’t learning and our schools are some of the worst in the nation. This is Tina Kotek’s Oregon, she’s been falling students and parents, for almost four years, and we’ve had enough. When I’m Governor, we’re going to fix our schools and make sure funding goes to helping kids learn, not failed agendas and ideologies.
