Reflecting on last Thursday were we encapsulated our ICT agenda on fostering innovation, shaping strategy and celebrating excellence. Morning we celebrated Zimbabwe's brilliant young innovators at the AI Innovation Week prize giving ceremony. Their AI prototypes for mining and agriculture are groundbreaking. Big thanks to our partners UNDP Zimbabwe Zimbabwe and CBZ Holdings. Afternoon i attended the launch of our national economic blueprint, the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS 2) at Statehouse, followed by the 2026 Budget Presentation at the New Parliament. We were encouraged by the clear, deliberate commitment to fund AI adoption by Treasury,though we need to continue to push for more resources from them and forge more partnerships,this is a great win for our digital future. My evening concluded at our Ministry's ICT Excellence Awards 2025. It was a great honor to celebrate the heroes and heroines of our sector. Special thanks to Hon T. Machakaire for representing our Guest of Honour, Hon. VP Dr K.C.D. Mohadi. Proud of this holistic push for tech led growth. #AI #ZimBudget2026 #NDS2
