We punished Intel's new Panther Lake processor with demanding ray-traced gaming benchmarks. How does it stack up against Strix Halo/Strix Point - and what about desktop GPUs like the RTX 3050 and RX 6600? Spoilers: we were impressed.

Dana White on how Paramount+ deal came together: We were in negotiations for awhile with everybody and it was looking like we were going to have to chop up the content like the NFL does...and then literally in the 23rd hour Paramount came in and said, 'We want it all and here's what we'll pay for it.'

The demand for AI capabilities is outpacing the computational capacity available today. As workloads become more complex, small language models are growing larger, with longer input sequences and rising resource demands. The relentless pursuit of near zero latency is now mission-critical as domain-specific models advance. This challenge inspired us to design something radically different — Strix Halo. In deep co-engineering partnership with HP, we’re incredibly proud to power the new ZBook Ultra G1a, the world’s best mobile workstation, and the Z2 Mini G1a, the world’s best mini workstation. Strix Halo shatters the limits of mobile performance, bringing workstation-level power into thin and light laptops. By unlocking access to 128GB of unified memory between CPU and GPU combined with 256GB/s of memory bandwidth, Strix Halo enables architects, engineers, creatives, and data scientists to tackle massive datasets, complex simulations, and AI workflows without compromise. Strix Halo is the world’s first AI PC processor capable of running 70 billion parameter models. Just five years ago, this kind of inference computing required a room full of servers — today, it fits in your backpack. This is a major step forward in the future of AI PCs. Stay tuned as we continue to break boundaries 🚀 #TogetherWeAdvance AMD

It’s been 25 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks, but almost every American alive that day still remembers it like it was yesterday: the shock, where we were, what we thought, how it felt, and how we responded. At no point in our nation’s future, must we ever forget.

🌸: recently, the members went to eat and we talked about things that happened in the past, and we were like ‘how did we get through that? it’s amazing’ 🌸: we talked about it while laughing. it’s like, strangely, when the five of us are together, it feels like we can get through anything, no matter what happens 🥺🥺🥺 #le_sserafim

Professor John Mearsheimer: We’re not winning against Iran. We’re not winning. We’re sending a message that we’re a bunch of fools. That we started a war we can’t win. We didn’t have the required military forces to achieve any of the objectives that we were floating, and we had no plan. What does this tell the Chinese and what does it tell the Russians? It tells them that we are incompetent. Of course the Russians have had enough dealings with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to fully understand just how incompetent we are.

Madeon talks about producing “Mary Jane Holland” and “Venus” with Lady Gaga: “‘Venus,’ she ended up taking over the production and finishing it because she had her own vision. … I saw her recently and we talked about it, we laughed about it, and we listened to it again together, and I was like, ‘Damn, you were so right.’”

We cut open the Kirin 9030 and put it under an electron microscope. The smallest metal pitch measures 32.5 nanometers. That is tighter than Intel 18A, their brand new leading edge node. A Chinese fab with no EUV is out-pitching Intel's EUV node by roughly 10 percent. What's going on here? 🤯 "This is the HiSilicon Kirin 9030, the chip inside Huawei's newest flagship phone. A few weeks ago, we cut it open, put it under an electron microscope, and measured the smallest wires inside the chip, the metal pitch. And what we saw was unexpected. The smallest metal pitch inside the Kirin 9030 measures only 32.5 nanometers. That’s smaller than the metal pitch in Panther Lake, which is based on Intel's brand-new 18A node. A Chinese fab, cut off from the most advanced tools, without EUV, is packing its wires about ten percent tighter than Intel's leading edge EUV node. What’s going on here?"

Chadwick Boseman pulled me aside on the Black Panther set and kept me from getting fired, Ryan coogler narrates the story of how the black panther actor saved him Amy Poehler: What, when you think about the times where you laughed... Ryan Coogler: Have you seen Chad on SNL? He is hilarious. He would tease all the time in between takes, but he was very disciplined. We were ridiculously stressed out on Black Panther, and we know now what Chad was dealing with. He was deeply funny and would joke around with Lupita and Danai, especially about the costumes and props. Amy Poehler: I bet it must be fun to introduce a new costume, and comedy is how we stay connected to people who have passed. Ryan Coogler: When I look back at my relationship with him, it taught me not to take things for granted. When I was stressed on Black Panther and worried about getting fired, he would pull me to the side and say, "I'm not letting them like fire you, bro."

⋆୨ #newwiee ୧⋆ 🐻‍❄️ I want a love where we where can communicate and understand each other. How we look on the outside is one of part but mainly it’s about how we get along, like how we come together, how we adapt with each other. We don’t need to have the same personality but it’s about understanding and how we accept each other. What each other’s limitations, and does it work out if we match it together? Can we adjust it? Can we turn it up or down? Well, kind of talk in lot of things. If we can complement that, I think we can ‘match up’. I think it’s a good non-toxic love by that way. Being able to talk about anything and understand each other is important for keeping it going long-term.

Russian propagandist Solovyev said that the same scenario with Iran will be "at some point" tested and used against Russia and China. "How long this will take doesn't matter. We saw how many years they were waiting on Iraq and Iran. We must rid ourselves of illusions. We must understand who we are up against. We must draw conclusions now. Either we will win, or we will be wiped out, destroyed," he said.

Within minutes of pulling up to O Block we got pressed and were told not to film. I totally understand why and was happy we were there with Dilla so he could have a conversation about what it is that he does. We’re lucky to have a guy like ⁦Shermann Dilla Thomas⁩ in Chicago⁩

We are seeing a lot of confusion about "Body to Body", so just to clear things up: Yoongi and Namjoon were not against using the Arirang sample. What they had concerns about was how it was layered in the track. In the earlier version, the sample was much louder and overlapped with the vocals, which made it overwhelming for listeners. The final version we got is different, with the sample more subtly blended into the background. So, to be clear, they were not against the Arirang sample itself. The version we hear today reflects adjustments made after those initial concerns were raised.
