ISROs highest salary after like 20-30 years in service is the starting salary of top IIT students. The government subsidizes IIT because it is the top 0.6% of Indian Engineering students and they deserve it.( Even then the fees is around 15 lakhs while fees in top Private college is 25)

@isro @rajeshkalra IITs are not about toppers alone... IIT brand and earning crores is a branding/PR myth.. that's applies to just a handful of ppl and their USD package is converted to ₹ to make it seem big There are Indian firms/firms in india that pay big though..

@isro @rajeshkalra Can't blame them students Siddharth! At the start of the career, everyone will prefer higher package only. If someone is getting much higher pay, why would someone join ISRO which gives around 5lap to freshers. ISRO needs to get more budget from govt to offer atleast 15lpa at IIT

@isro @rajeshkalra IIT students gets a massively subsidised education..who pays for it?? Taxpayer & govt...later, these ppl gladly leave for $£ What does taxpayer/country get in return ? Those who leave can be made to pay full & actual cost of their education Yes, #isro must also improve pay

@isro @rajeshkalra You can’t blame the students. Money is the main attraction for everyone. I believe ISRO has to make packages attractive for the freshers of IITs

@isro @rajeshkalra They pay taxes so don't do the drama of subsidised education.

@isro @rajeshkalra Even those without an education pay taxes.. paying tax is not some great thing that the educated alone do.. Buy a slipper or a toothbrush or a soap and still you pay taxes.. Nothing elite about paying taxes - everyone pays in some way or another

@isro @rajeshkalra 1. In IITs BTechs are paying more than 2 Lakhs p.a. of tuition fees 2. ISRO hardly goes to IITs for recruitment. They mostly absorb the students of IIST.

@isro @rajeshkalra ₹2lakhs+ per annum is big money is it ? People buy phones for 1lakh today.. For once, visit an iit campus and experience the ambience and feel of the place..spend time roaming around their labs, dining facilities, sports grounds etc ₹2lakhs is peanuts for that
