Successive Congress Government built all these institutions which became national assets of India. And BJP/RSS which has brainwashed a section of the people into thinking that this is not development are dismantling all those assets and destroying them.
Its ironic that a space program started by a true son of soil Gujju is getting destroyed by a crony Gujju How this great country got such a dogshit prime minister?
All are PRIVITIZED in such a way that to be given to Adani. Why this Autocracy.....No people centric. All labor laws collapsed. All institutions saffronised. India lost its 70 years of scientific advancement.
India was at forefront among Asian countries in Space technology and Satellite launches. In last 10 years it has only become a a PR game for Modi, whether it’s Mangalyaan or Man Mission it’s only talks and no action by the Government. Modi Government has given 0(zero) priority to Education, Research, Technology and Science. Recently Modi praised a private venture for launching a mediocre rocket, that ISRO has done 40 years back. Wtf is going on? He actually dragged us down to Selling pakodas and Chai. That’s what you get when you elect an illiterate Fanatic Anpadh ganwaar Adani Ambani ka dost as PM.

Which are the "external agencies"? What is the nature of the "intense pressure" which is making/encouraging the scientists to leave ISRO? Where are these scientists going? What has been the proportion of discovery and the proportion of assembly with imported stuff in ISRO so far?

Not all view this as purely destructive "destruction of institutions." Some analysts see it as a natural evolution—talent moving to India's growing private space industry (still contributing domestically) rather than classic brain drain abroad. ISRO has vacancies and is hiring.
