Will you personally underwrite the shortfall if we don’t.

This obsession with GDP and not GDPPC is why we are screwed. Individual wealth has dropped drastically just so people like you can point to some arbitrary line going up. GDP is only a useful metric along with a myriad of other metrics. To concentrate on GDP alone is to be ignorant of the bigger picture. GDP has gone up and we are all poorer than ever.

Dale, GDP growth for growth’s sake is at the heart of inequality and overshooting 7 of the 9 planetary boundaries. Best to follow this ⬇️ policy.

Show us the maths behind that statement then if you have the answers … which I very much doubt you do because all you are interested in is yourself and making our bills more expensive

How lovely it is to see Dale running with an @ASI/@CPS policy. He probably wouldn't if he knew how neoliberal raising the personal allowance is but we'll take support from anyone.

What absolute bullshit. Think you got the decimal point in the wrong place. Assumes of course that you know what that is.

The whole point of paying interest on deposits (private and institutional) is to control the economy when it runs too hot. That extra £600 everybody receives will be inflated away. Not a good idea sorry Dale.

We shouldn’t be increasing capital gains tax at all! We’ve already been taxed through the nose on money we’ve then taken risk with. Absolutely disgusting suggestion. Personal allowance does need increasing. Fiscal drag is a huge stealth tax but CGT is not the answer. The government wastes way more than 20 billion a year on all sorts of crap. Let’s not dismiss your labour bias here as well after you have received 123 million in subsidies after giving a donation a fraction of that! You have a platform but are not impartial

I really wish political figures would call us "people", rather than "families". Some of us don't want a family; most of us couldn't afford to start one even if we did. Nearly 30% of Brits live alone, and 40% don't have a partner. We're a huge voting block.
