🚨 BREAKING, MINNESOTA 🚨 ICE/Border Patrol agents illegally detained a U.S. citizen and told him he had to “prove” his citizenship. In the video, the man is standing outside his own vehicle while multiple agents surround him, demanding ID. He calmly tells them, “I’m a United States citizen.” Their response? “You have to prove that to us.” Let that sink in. He asks why he was stopped and directly questions whether it’s because he looks Somali. The agent denies it and immediately pivots to, “Do you have your driver’s license?” They then double down, again insisting that a U.S. citizen must prove his citizenship to ICE. When pressed, one agent starts mumbling about the car possibly being connected to people “not here legally.” Then the tone shifts. You hear an agent warn the others, “Cameras, cameras to your left.” The man states the car is registered in his own name. An agent asks, “What is your name, sir?” He responds, “I don’t have to tell you.” Another agent falsely claims, “You actually do have to identify yourself.” The man asks the most important question, “Then why did you stop me?” Suddenly, a different agent steps in, asks for ID, says he just needs to “hold it up,” glances at it, says “okay, cool,” and they all walk away. No citation. No arrest. No explanation. Because they never had legal grounds to stop him in the first place. This is what it looks like when ICE conducts unlawful stops, relies on racial profiling, and backs off the moment someone knows their rights and records everything. Film them. Ask questions. Assert your rights. Because cameras are the only reason this didn’t go further.

They manually load aviation bombs onto pickup trucks, which is slow and labor-intensive, especially with limited manpower. Despite these challenges, their work benefits not just their brigade but many others, as you may have seen in Ukrainian Telegram channels. A few months ago, they asked for help, a rare request, but one they truly needed. They needed a truck with a crane to safely collect and recycle unexploded ordnance. Thanks to your donations, we were able to provide that truck. It’s been in service for a month now, eliminating bottlenecks, improving safety, and increasing productivity with fewer people. The impact has been incredible, reaching far beyond the 92nd Brigade. On the video you can see this truck collecting 3 aviation bombs with containing half a ton of explosives. This 6,000,000 milestone is important. It is important because it demonstrates tremendous competence, and it confirms the reality that you have broken the Leviathan grip that conventional media formats and structures have on the minds of thinking people around the world. We are all witnessing your cracking of the matrix code or, as Charlie described it, “the simulation,” and your freeing tens of thousands of decent people from the darkest and most evil forces that exist. In future ages, university students will study what you have achieved and we meticulously examine the timeline of exactly how you did it. You were never suppose to break the combination lock. As such, it is vital that your entire timeline of communication is presented and preserved as part of the historical record, and that it is translated into the main principal languages of the world. Your ability to recognise patterns, and your capacity to zero in on the primary sources of evil on planet Earth, has broken new ground. In particular, your highlighting of the harmful actions of psychiatry and psychiatrists has allowed light to enter our world where previously darkness was falling. When we saw the pink fiery clouds, we immediately decided to add a scene to capture Chi Cheng's reminiscing. Because the sky that day seemed to have dyed Chi Cheng's heart onto the clouds. So, Chi Cheng quickly got into character, and with the active cooperation of the entire crew, we managed to complete the shoot in twenty minutes— the moment Chi Cheng let love grow freely and wildly 💕 I often recall Tian Xuning (@田栩宁_) asking me on set, "Director, am I like Chi Cheng?" In fact, during the script read-through, I was most worried about Chi Cheng, because this character is so dynamic, a very expressive and straightforward character. Tian was very professional and gave me a pleasant surprise. He often discussed certain scenes with me, asking how he should portray the character. He was constantly thinking about how to mold himself into Chi Cheng's body. This is what Chi Cheng is really about— a Chi Cheng who is slowly coming to understand himself and learning how to love.

In fact, during the script read-through, I was most worried about Chi Cheng, because this character is so dynamic, a very expressive and straightforward character. Tian was very professional and gave me a pleasant surprise. He often discussed certain scenes with me, asking how he should portray the character. New short course: LLMs as Operating Systems: Agent Memory, created with Letta, and taught by its founders Charles Packer and Sarah Wooders. An LLM's input context window has limited space. Using a longer input context also costs more and results in slower processing. So, managing what's stored in this context window is important. In the innovative paper MemGPT: Towards LLMs as Operating Systems, its authors (which include the instructors) proposed using an LLM agent to manage this context window. Their system uses a large persistent memory that stores everything that could be included in the input context, and an agent decides what is actually included. Take the example of building a chatbot that needs to remember what's been said earlier in a conversation (perhaps over many days of interaction with a user). As the conversation's length grows, the memory management agent will move information from the input context to a persistent searchable database; summarize information to keep relevant facts in the input context; and restore relevant conversation elements from further back in time. This allows a chatbot to keep what's currently most relevant in its input context memory to generate the next response. When I read the original MemGPT paper, I thought it was an innovative technique for handling memory for LLMs. The open-source Letta framework, which we'll use in this course, makes MemGPT easy to implement. It adds memory to your LLM agents and gives them transparent long-term memory. Kevin O'Leary: The 80/20 signal-to-noise rule Steve Jobs & Elon Musk used to outperform everyone "I used to work for Steve Jobs in the early 90s making all of his educational software. I would say, 'Steve, we've got to do some market research on Oregon Trail. It's in 110,000 school buildings. It's going to cost you 12-15 million bucks. We want to find out what the students want, what the teachers want, what the parents want.'" O'Leary shares Steve's response: "Steve would say, by the way, not a nice guy, not a nice guy, he would say to a room full of people: 'Kevin, I don't give a shit what the students want or the parents think or anybody thinks. It's what I want. They don't know what they want till I tell them what they want.'" O'Leary pushed back: "I said, 'Steve, you sound like such an asshole. You have no idea what that sounds like.' He said, 'No, no, that's how it is, Kevin. Are you making money with me? Am I your fastest growing OEM? Have we not been wildly successful and continue to be?' I said, 'Yes, Steve, that's true.' He said, 'Then shut up and do what I say.' That's how he would talk to you. 100%." O'Leary explains what he learned: "There's a concept that he understood that very few people focused on back then, signal-to-noise ratio. His vision of signal was the top 3 to 5 things you have to get done in the next 18 hours. Not your vision for the business next week or next month or next year. Just the next 18 hours you're awake. You're going to get those 3 to 5 things done that you have deemed critical for your mission. They must get done today. Anything that stops you from doing that is the noise." He shares the ratio that made Jobs successful: "For Steve Jobs, the signal to noise ratio to be successful was 80/20. 80% signal, 20% noise. And I knew that to be true with him because he would email me at 2:30 in the morning and expect me to get back to him." O'Leary compares Jobs to one other person: "The only other person I've seen with a higher ratio than that is Elon Musk. He has no noise. He does not deal with noise. He is 100% signal. 24 seconds of every 30 seconds. 60 seconds of every minute. 60 minutes of every hour. The 18 hours he's awake, it's all signal. And look what he's achieved." He acknowledges the tradeoff: "That's very awkward for him socially, because noise is dealing with your family sometimes. Noise is saying hi to a friend. Noise is doom scrolling on social media. Maybe playing your guitar. But very few people on Earth, and if you go back in history, you'll find that the geniuses of their time were close to 100% signal." O'Leary shares another example: "Bezos will not make a decision after 1:00 in the afternoon, because he felt that the noise was too high. The signal for him was in the morning hours." He summarizes the lesson: "This is a crucial aspect of success that I now understand. It defines an entrepreneur. A man or woman that understands the signal-to-noise ratio, that focuses on that, they'll be successful. The ones that can't, that get down to a 50/50 signal to noise, they'll fail. It's that simple."

Introducing Wikiwise: an open-source Mac app for managing your own Karpathy-style LLM wiki. Set up a new wiki in a few clicks: all you need is Wikiwise + your agent. It's infinitely customizable, just markdown/html under the hood, and one click to share your wiki publicly. Here's how it works: * Install Wikiwise for mac (it's built in Swift so super minimal and performant). In Karpathy's framework, Wikiwise is your IDE. * Start a new Wiki: it generates a new folder on your machine that's scaffolded in the wiki structure Andrej Karpathy describes (index.md, raw folder, wiki folder, CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md, although it tries to be as un-opinionated as possible). * Then just point your agent (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, etc) at the folder and tell it what to import -- files on your machine, connect to your Readwise account, or urls from the web. * Your agent creates wthe wiki for you: Your agent will know how to ingest your raw sources (via the AGENTS.md) and will immediately start writing+linking wiki pages for you. * Go crazy on customization! Every new wiki styling+structure is self-contained in the local folder, which allows you to preserve this. Wikiwise is just an IDE that makes the setup easier and includes a nice un-opinionated starting state. 3. Minimal: Wikiwise is built mostly in Swift, and the DMG you install to download it is only 2.6MB (!) 4. Easy Publishing: my colleague Eleanor Konik has been building her own LLM wikis for months, but has always really struggled to actually share them with her book club. There are tools to do it, but figuring out hosting is always a huge headache. This seemed like an ideal usecase for a tool like Wikiwise to solve. The process of building wikiwise was also pretty interesting -- I "bootstrapped" the app in a way by first building my own wiki based on Karpathy's tweet and other notes I had, and slowly formed the shape of the project in collaboration with my LLM.
