Another group of our warriors is back home. Today, Ukrainian servicemen returned from Russian captivity — including members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, particularly the Air Assault Forces, Naval Forces, and Territorial Defense Forces. Also released were service members of the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard, and the State Special Transport Service. Many of them spent nearly two years in captivity. Many have serious injuries and health issues. Most are officers. We know each and every one. We are bringing everyone back. And we continue working to return all. Thank you to everyone who makes this possible every day — and especially to our defenders who stood strong in captivity. Glory to Ukraine!

95 of our people are home again. These are the warriors who defended Mariupol and "Azovstal," as well as the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions. Each time Ukraine rescues its people from Russian captivity, we bring closer the day when freedom will be returned to all those still held in Russian captivity. I thank the team involved in finding and liberating prisoners. We are doing everything to bring back all of our people held by Russia. I am grateful to the warriors who replenish the exchange fund and to all our partners who help us. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Today, we completed another exchange. 103 Ukrainian defenders have been returned from Russian captivity. Many of these men have been held since 2022 – from the first months of the war. These include warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, border guards, police officers, and soldiers from other elements of our Defense and Security Forces. Among them are defenders from the Kyiv and Donetsk regions, including Mariupol and Azovstal, as well as other parts of the regions. Some were captured in Kharkiv and Kherson regions as well. Some of the men are in serious condition due to injuries, and all will receive the necessary care. I want to thank our exchange team for their work. And my deep gratitude to all our brave combat brigades who continue to contribute to the "exchange fund" for our country. In particular, the recent operation in the Kursk region gave us the necessary momentum.

Three years ago, Azovstal Defenders surrendered into Russian captivity. They defended Mariupol and Azovstal for 86 days. Over 800 Defenders from Azov are still captives of Russia, three years later. Russia is very reluctant to exchange them. I remember those days so well. I remember how Ukraine and the world watched the heroism of Azovstal and prayed for our Defenders. How I rushed to subtitle all the videos from there and share them with you (I wonder if anyone has been following me since those early days?) Every weekend, there are many rallies all over Ukraine to free Ukrainian Defenders who are in Russian captivity, including Azov (the video shows one of them in Kyiv). You will see posters and stickers saying Free Azov in many cafes and restaurants in Kyiv. Hoping and praying that Azov Warriors and all Ukrainian Defenders return home soon from Russian captivity.
