The House and the Senate will hold separate votes on a War Powers Resolution on Thursday, sponsored by Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie and Senators Tim Kaine and Rand Paul respectively. The War Powers Resolution seeks to halt President Donald Trump's war of aggression on Iran through the constitutional authority vested in Congress to authorize a war. Ro Khanna (D-CA) says, "I'm always open to new intelligence." Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) adds, “I’m open as well.” Khanna, who has co-sponsored a bipartisan War Powers Resolution with Massie, tells Margaret Brennan that "the procedure should have been that Congress was briefed before we decided to enter war, and that we actually had a vote on it."
