@USArmy Hopes for the future generally necessitate acknowledgement of present realities. At one point, the Army knew exactly how to recruit soldiers. It forgot how over the course of the past decade, adopting the corporate-approved status quo instead. Boy, what a colossal fuck up.

@USArmy Edge of criticality maybe a balance between complexity and efficiency. Simulations make good measurements, but overall the math, the optimal point is vastly likely to exist in higher complexity, but to find it gets way more expensive, edge of criticality maybe the sweet spot.
