It is understandable that The Presidency 🇿🇦 Ramaphosa was unable to name those he accuses of spreading disinformation, as there is no factual basis for his far-fetched allegations. Media institutions that attempted to accuse AfriForum of disinformation have already had to officially apologise to AfriForum on eight occasions for spreading lies about us. AfriForum remains committed to playing a constructive role, in the interests of everyone in the country, to help salvage the deteriorating relationship with the USA. AfriForum and the Solidarity Movement have already presented proposed solutions to President Cyril Ramaphosa 🇿🇦 and other ANC leaders on several occasions, but these have simply been ignored. President Ramaphosa’s blatant disregard for efforts to find solutions makes a mockery of his claim that he is committed to finding “South African solutions to South African problems.”

AfriForum has just submitted a formal submission to the Khampepe Commission of Inquiry, requesting that the commission, as part of its investigation into political interference aimed at preventing the prosecution of TRC cases, also determine why ANC leaders were never prosecuted for their acts of terror during the apartheid era. The National Prosecuting Authority has recently begun to selectively prosecute members of the former security forces for various crimes but continues, for political reasons, to refuse to investigate the wrongdoing of ANC leaders. AfriForum therefore once again calls for the book on the past to be closed — but if that does not happen, that ANC leaders who did not receive amnesty should also be investigated in the interest of equality before the law.

Diplomatic crisis with the US is in no one’s interest: The civil rights organisation AfriForum says the current diplomatic crisis with the US is not in anyone’s interest in South Africa and could have been prevented if the ANC leadership had not ignored AfriForum and the Solidarity Movement’s efforts to help find solutions. AfriForum emphasises that, as an organisation, it remains committed to helping find solutions to this crisis in the best interest of everyone in the country. According to Kallie Kriel, CEO of AfriForum, ANC leaders have so far actively prevented attempts to find solutions by, among other things, inviting the Iranian ambassador to the ANC headquarters and making anti-American statements. “Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, acted directly against South Africa’s interests by publicly accusing President Donald Trump of having a ‘white supremacy’ agenda, despite his role as minister to promote international relations. Lamola disregarded the possibility of retaliation for his statements, and now we are all reaping the bitter fruits of that,” says Kriel. Referring to Trump’s latest statements on social media about farm murders and property rights, Kriel says that concrete steps must be taken to combat farm murders and protect property rights, as this is the best way to tackle these issues. According to Kriel, AfriForum has therefore already made several proposals to the ANC’s leaders to serve as solutions in this regard. AfriForum proposes, among other things, the following solutions for combating farm murders and protecting property rights: Farm Murders • President Ramaphosa should be urged to unconditionally condemn the “Kill the Boer” chant, which is a call for ethnic violence against Afrikaners. • The South African government should at least acknowledge the fact that farm murders are accompanied by excessive torture and violence. • Farm murders should be declared a priority crime, as is already the case with numerous other crimes, including rhino poaching. • The government should decide that the South African Police Service (SAPS) should officially and in a planned manner collaborate with farm and neighbourhood watches nationwide that operate within the framework of the law. I don't think the Democratic Alliance realises what damage John Steenhuisen just did to their voter base with his News24 🇿🇦 Interview. First, let's define the term "AfriMaga", considering John, with the help of Ryan Coetzee, coined the term. In John's own words, "Afrimaga" are people who support the following organisations and who are conservative: - Afriforum (300,000 members) - Solidariteit (200,000 members) - Sakeliga (Represents 12,000 businesses) - SAAI (6000+ members) So, according to John, if you support any of the above-mentioned organisations OR are conservative (right-wing), then John believes you don't share the DA's values and principles, as you are "AfriMaga" supporters. He even goes further to say that some of you are "racists" and are the people who voted "NO" in the referendum. I can say comfortably that John just directly insulted more than two million people who have in the past voted for the DA and would have potentially voted for them again. He also says all of the above as the DA welcomes Cllrs from the ANC/EFF/MK into their party and deploys them as councillors. The recent revelation of a 631 million MVR project awarded to RCC to build just 55 council buildings is a clear example, and it is precisely why they want to clamp down on social media and independent media.

You need to give NTSB — it's not that we don't have information. We do have information. We have data. We have substantial amounts of information. We need to verify information. We need to take our time to make sure it is accurate. That's best for you. That's important for the families.
