I've always been a big fan of Freeez's I.O.U. It's one of those records that helped shape dance music without a lot of people even realizing it. 🔥 So when KRYDER, The Young Punx and I started working on AEIOU, the goal wasn't to recreate an '80s classic, but to build on what made it so special and turn it into something that feels fresh on today's dancefloors. Once it’s locked in on a meal, nothing really seems to deter the bald eagle. With landing gear down and its talons curled into fists, the approach is a carefully balanced act of flight where each and every feather helps steer this magnificent winged beast towards its food source. I have seen these birds do this thousands of times and I can tell you that it never gets old. Every single time I stand in awe and wonder at how this all seems to just work and with each experience I learn a little bit more about these animals and myself. Being able to immerse myself in the natural world is one of the greatest gifts life has given me.

Proud of this one. We shipped a new Institutional Holdings API. This data comes from 13F filings, which is a nightmare to parse at scale. You must normalize tons of data. Funds will report "BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY", "BRK", "BRK.A", and the CUSIP across different positions. Resolving these to a canonical security requires a reference → CUSIP → ticker map that is correct both today and historically. You need to track ticker changes, splits, and M&A activity, which breaks the majority of vibe coded approaches. Also, there is a ton of data: your DB table will easily exceed 1B rows if done right. We solved it Financial Datasets. It's now 1 API call.

Is your toddler suddenly throwing (or dropping) everything they get their hands on? Food, toys… you name it. You’re not alone. This week I’ve been introducing play schemas, 9 common patterns that can help to demystify your toddler’s seemingly random behaviors. And you guessed it: this is one. We call it the trajectory schema. If you take nothing else away from this post, let it be this: your little one doesn’t throw things because they are misbehaving or “bad.” Babies throw things because they are babies. And they are learning as they do so. Learning about cause and effect. Learning about gravity. Learning what (and practicing something new) they can do with their bodies. Learning hand-eye coordination. It’s a completely normal part of development. And the fascination won’t last forever. The real question is, how do you manage it? First, be proactive. Expect that anything your little one handles might reasonably be thrown or dropped. So choose wisely, avoiding items that are valuable or might pose a danger to them or others if they suddenly took flight. Second, depending on the age of your child, begin introducing some natural consequences. Put the toy/object away temporarily after it is thrown (if throwing it is dangerous or inappropriate). And involve your child in the subsequent clean-up. You can also redirect. Explain which things are and are not for throwing. Model the correct use of these objects. Finally, lean into it. Recognizing that young children are drawn to throwing, provide items that are safe and acceptable to throw. Soft toys. Socks. Balls. This is Momma Hen and she is one of the oldest chickens we have on the farm. Each year she goes “broody” and hatches eggs we intend to keep for consumption. That’s okay because we get more hens each year without paying for any. She’s a bit quirky though - instead of keeping the chicks with the flocks, she moves them to this old coal chute built into the side of the house. This is where she’s raised them since they were first hatched. No heat lamps, weather protection by us or much else and the chicks are now growing into mature hens!

It served the entire community, cold drinks, food storage, something everyone in that area relied on. Now it’s not feeding a community anymore. It’s going into one house, for one family, while everyone else who used to benefit from it gets nothing. If the goal was really to give locals these businesses, this is the opposite of that. Nobody inherited a shop today. Everyone just lost one.

A brick? What am I going to do? Mini pieces of art and history that l'm making with casting molds. Each one's a copy of a stonewall brick with my artwork on it, inspired by the Stonewall legacy and our communities resilience. The plan? Drop them around NYC - hide them in corners, parks, random spots - kinda like a city-wide treasure hunt. Each brick tells a story, sparks convo, and hopefully makes someone stop and feel something. I'll also be selling these so you don't need to be in nyc looking for these to get one of your own! But I don't wanna do this alone. A brick? What am I going to do? Mini pieces of art and history that l'm making with casting molds. Each one's a copy of a stonewall brick with my artwork on it, inspired by the Stonewall legacy and our communities resilience. The plan? Drop them around NYC - hide them in corners, parks, random spots - kinda like a city-wide treasure hunt. Each brick tells a story, sparks convo, and hopefully makes someone stop and feel something. I'll also be selling these so you don't need to be in nyc looking for these to get one of your own! But I don't wanna do this alone. I'm tryna team up with powerful voices - brands, orgs, people who care - to make this bigger than just art. I want these bricks to raise awareness, represent the community, and be a reminder that our history is everywhere - not just in museums. Let's make noise. Let's make people look.
