Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues to suffer from the heaviest technical difficulties yet. I went on the attraction for the first time 2 months ago today, and it was one of the happiest moments of my life, yet these issues can’t be ignored. My 26th ride last night was the worst state I’ve ever seen it in, and it’s operating in an even worse state today, with the Audio-Animatronics figures freezing and resetting while Guests were riding. I love this attraction more than any other, yet I’m at the point now where I’m even having a hard time enjoying it when my favorite parts of it aren’t working correctly. This attraction, in my opinion, truly is a joyful celebration when everything is working correctly, yet that’s not reality right now. I’m sad to see it in this state and hope to see the issues addressed immediately so everyone can fully enjoy the beautiful experience that it is.

CONTENT CREATORS I’ve been working with HotDrop to refine an app that consolidates all your platforms into one space. AND IT’S LIVE AND WORKING Check it out, you can have a “Circle” which is our version of Discord servers. But notice all of your content is right there so your community never misses anything you post on any platform. And HotDrop does that work for you. If someone had a two-year sub badge and a moderator sword on your Twitch, then it shows up on their name in your Circle automatically. We also have a feed with no algorithm trying to analyze you. We wanted to replicate the old Destiny community days of social media back in D1. The goal is to create a space just for content creators and their communities. Best part is that we generate an invite link to your Circle so all you have to do is copy and paste it into a Twitch command, a video description, a pinned comment. And your community can join in a click. We use Twitch and YouTube logins so bots don’t spam accounts here either. And if your goal is to troll, your whole YT or Twitch account gets banned from the platform so there’s higher risk to being a jerk. All we need now is creators to try it out, give us feedback, and we’ll keep refining the platform. But it will be the best place to foster a community. Check it out on Apple and Android.

Stateless History Node is almost like a regular Ethereum node, but it doesn't store state and it doesn't have EVM execution. It's used only for syncing events and thus - is faster and gives you FREE INDEXING. You don't have to pay 6 figures for RPC anymore! Just spin up a Stateless History Node, plug rindexer or Ponder there, and enjoy free (AND FAST!!) indexing! This node is syncing >1000 blocks per second at my local pc (less than 6hrs for the whole Ethereum), and it should use less than 200GB - which means you can host it on a MacMini, Hetzner or whatever. You can futhermore filter that by using block ranges or bloom filters, etc - I haven't developed this yet. What you see is a proof of concept. It works via native devp2p 'eth' protocol, but with EIP4444 and The Prune we would have to also support era1 archives and Portal Network. But so far it works - there are plenty of peers serving historical receipts, and they serve them FAST! If you run Stateless History Node you can also serve the blocks and receipts - so that could help to preserve archival data too. For now there is no data validation yet (and even no data storage - that's a very early PoC), but we can verify validity of chain by simultaneously running a lightweight CL node (or not lightweight if you're extremely paranoid). And then support verifying the hashes of receipts and blocks with their parents, maintaining full integrity and zero trust. It's also written in rust, btw. So, I guess, at least for Ethereum Mainnet the era of RPC's pumping moneybags is over - there's finally a local, trustless and free indexing alternative available. Too sad this won't work for Optimism / Base , cause despite introducing P2P after Bedrock - they haven't enabled receipts transfer in the protocol (or at least I couldn't find one). Arbitrum is even sadder - I don't believe there is a P2P layer at all - you just have to run your own node, hold state and execute blocks to get events. There is hope - Paradigm recently released Ress - stateless execution, but it requires nodes to support Witness preparation & exchange - but this could work for L2s - cause the main blocker for local RPCs rn is huge state (VPS with TB storage cost a lot), and the second blocker is EVM forks makes it hard to hold a node - it needs to be maintained, upgraded, etc. Ress at least solves the state part. But anyways, I will try to continue working on this and release some MVP version with RPC endpoint and data storage soon - follow the updates!

What about labor?!?! The biggest pushback we get on timber framing is "my labor tho!" Yes, timber framing takes time. Yes, it takes a little more skill than stick framing. (This feels unfair to say because there are some spectacular modern carpenters out there, but. But your basic build quality is fairly low, on average.) However, it is completely possible to slowly build your own timber frame over time in a way that simply isn't possible with a stick frame build that's sitting out in the weather. A friend is about to raise his 12x16 timber frame cabin (it will be used as a workshop) after working nights and weekends for a year+ That time would have passed, anyway. Last I checked, Netflix doesn't pay you to watch it. If you're doing timber framing for yourself on your own time, why worry about the "labor cost?" We'd love to show you how to make your own timber frames at home. Comment "class" and we'll drop a link to our current class schedule as soon as we get back to the computer. =)

Apple just trained a 3D Gaussian head reconstruction model on 10,000+ subjects. Feed-forward. No test-time optimization. New identity in, reconstructed Gaussian head out. The UV-parameterized Gaussian representation decouples the number of Gaussians from the number and resolution of input images, making it practical to train with many high resolution views. And the heads are not just static either: text-conditioned identity generation, plus blendshape-driven latent animation across identities. We've been building in the 3D Gaussian Splatting space for a while. The gap between "research demo" and "works on real people at scale" is closing fast.

Please read‼️Khartoum Aid Kitchen started out almost 4 months ago as a pilot project between me and my Cousin Yaseen where we served one pot of fortified lentil stew with bread in the Hitana neighbourhood of Omdurman to 80 needy families (400 individuals). Today our Hitana kitchen has expanded to feed 1,600 hungry people everyday. Me and Yusuf wanted to replicate the success of the Hitana Kitchen across Khartoum State so we worked hard to expand our operation. Today the Khartoum Aid Kitchen initiative is the largest community Kitchen operation in #Sudan and has 23 community kitchens affiliated with it. We have hundreds of hard working volunteers and we feed 15,000 hungry people a day and are working to reach more. In addition to this we are also providing food assistance to thousands of those who have been displaced from Khartoum State. We receive no funding from NGO’s or Governments and are completely dependent on your donations in order to continue our vital work. If you are able to donate please do so, if not then we ask that you share widely 🙏🏽

The team has been working on the most valuable experiences and products possible now that we have the fastest/best-in-class 3D experience creator out there. Portals has always been a labor of love. It’s our life’s work, and we are not going anywhere. Solana is also here to stay, further establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with and gaining more of the recognition it deserves. It's time for us to put forward more of the on-chain ecosystem projects we have always wanted to do. Thousands of families sat in the dark and the heat while the mayor asked everyone else to sacrifice a little more. You cannot conserve your way out of a grid that cannot carry the load. That is not a talking point. That is physics. New York shut down Indian Point, its reliable nuclear plant, and leaned hard into wind and solar promises. Now the hottest week of the year arrives and the lights go out in the Bronx. Socialism always sounds generous in a speech. It looks very different when your refrigerator stops running and your kids cannot sleep through a heat emergency.
