@insulinresistnt A temporary spike in blood glucose after consuming (wait for it) glucose in fruit in not unhealthy or problematic, actually the opposite. If it stays elevated then you have a problem.

@insulinresistnt Just to be clear, if you are attempting to lose weight, that nectarine is not your friend with or without the eggs because your body will still need to respond with insulin to the sugar in that fruit and you will not be burning fat.

@insulinresistnt Weird day yesterday…I’m 85% carnivore but I listen to my body and yesterday at one of my local farmers markets I was craving cabbage and watermelon? 😂🤣😂🤷🏼♀️ I needed it to flush stuff out apparently. Mind/body communication truly is a thing

@insulinresistnt I eat raspberries

@insulinresistnt This explains why raw milk doesnt spike blood sugar. Its balanced nicely. It is my protein drink. Its no weight gainer however. My body just wants to be 180lbs. I have to constantly eat to maintain 190lbs I dont enjoy eating that much honestly. I lift for enjoyment. And paint

@insulinresistnt A life worth savoring probably

@insulinresistnt Area under the curve is probably better with the fruit

@insulinresistnt Fruit spikes your blood sugar, and beef 🥩 flat line your blood sugar.

@insulinresistnt I don't get his blood sugar going up in milligrams. All I know is if I eat a piece cake at my granddaughter's graduation party I get a massive headache and when I take my glucose it's 136. Probably not too bad but I don't like the headache

Hong Kong is one of the highest consumers of meat in the world, and has an average life expectancy of 87. India is one of the lowest, with a life expectancy of 66. It's amusing how weak plant-based nutrition is when we're not fixating on wealthy populations.

Had 2 lbs of steak about 2 hours ago

A six figure med school education told me not to eat red meat. A caveman told me to eat loads of it. Guess who was right?

Sugar feeds cancer. What one man discovered in 1924 will change everything you think you know about disease... Here's why steak and eggs might be more effective than chemotherapy: 🧵
